do they last a long time on plastic bottles and plastic/glass lunch boxes? I am thinking about getting this or stick to Shutterfly address labels. This is for a preschooler. He likes to take stickers off everything. Thank you so much!!!
If you use permanent vinyl, it will hold up much better. Be sure though to hand wash items, the high heat/steam of dishwashers will weaken the adhesive of the vinyl.

Can you use the Cricut vinyl with a Silhouette?
Yes. Any vinyl will work with a silhouette. People have their favorite brands but there is no problem using this with your silhouette machine.

Hi everyone,
Is this similar to contact paper? On our school supply list we were asked to purchase clear or tinted contact paper to cover 6 workbooks-will this do the job? Please let me know.
Contact paper is much less expensive and can be found at places like Walmart and Dollar Tree. Con-Tact is the most popular brand name. It’s just a clear (or tinted) plastic coating that it tacky on the back that can be used as a covering for durability. A 9 foot roll should cost you less than $9
I pay about $2.50 a roll for Oracal 651 vinyl on Amazon, everyday price, it isn’t Cricut brand but works just as good, I like it a little better.
And the rolls are 12″x5′ instead of 4′
