I forget can you do this deal more than once at Walgreens? I haven’t shopped there in awhile. Thanks in advance!
With register rewards, you can do it once per transaction, but you can’t use the RR from the previous transaction to pay for your next cereal transaction–the RR will not print.
You can do this deal more than once, but DO NOT use the Register Reward you earned for the first purchase to pay for the second or you will not earn another one. You can use the RR on any other type product. Does that make sense?
I have some RRs from last week I need to use by the 24th! If I buy 5 small Back to School filler items, use the cereal coupons, and then use my previous RRs, will the RRs from the cereal purchase still print? Thanks for any help. I am just trying to figure out how all this works.
hi, you can use the register rewards save from last week… as long that register reward didn’t come from a General Mills item, food product.
if you look at the register reward it will say something like thanks for your General Mills purchase. this one from last week can’t be used for this weeks cereal. but lets say… a proctor &gamble register reward item to which you earned fromP&G, from last week… yes you can use it for the cereal purchase.
remember this… any register reward earned by said named company cannot be used in the next transaction by the same named company.
so if lets say I have saved a register reward from Johnson and Johnson, saved from a previous purchase of that product, yes, you can use that for cereal. I hope I made this easy to understand. lol
I’m not sure if the register rewards from General Mills will work inconjuction with buying other items and the General Mills cereal.
anyone know this?
Is it just me, or does it seem like everyone has Honey Nut Cheerios on sale lately? Whole Foods, Amazon Prime Pantry and now here.
I have noticed not only the Honey Nut Cheerios, but a lot of cereals in general on sale. It seems to be pretty common with the start of back to school just around the corner.
I’ve been steering away from RR deals because it seems like I just don’t go to Walgreens all the often anymore, but I might need to do this one. My husband complained that we have too many “flaky” cereals 😉
Scarlet I have had the same problem at both cvs and walgreens. How I just put my items in the car and turn back around and spend my rr on something i need . This way I will not have to worry about them expiring.
Yes. That should work, as long as the RR reward you use was not earned by purchasing General Mills products. Remember, also, you can only have one coupon per item in your transaction and RR count as coupons (the filler items will take care of that issue).
Thanks for your help, Scarlet B. I think I get it now 😊 yes my RRs are from purchasing Digornos pizzas
I did this deal today. The RR reward did not print… still an ok deal, though.
I didn’t get the reward either.😕 I love cereal deals because I donate them to the food pantry.
