Just FYI: you get your first box after the 10th of the month so you cannot cancel. No exceptions. So you are committing to two months when you subscribe. I was very disappointed but I get all the beauty boxes so I might have high standards.

Sometimes the box is worth way more though. I had this subscription for awhile but canceled because I was overloaded with products. Everything is “higher end” or luxury brands. Worth it.
Totally agree…Sephora’s monthly beauty box is only $10 and it’s all prestige/high-end brands. Macy’s sells Burt’s Bees and NYX so if that winds up in a $15/mo. box then that’s a waste of $.
I had the Sephora one for even longer than Macy’s. I canceled it also because I kept getting creams and lotions I wouldn’t use despite adjusting my profile several times. I googled on the last few boxes and most of the boxes seemed to have been better than what I was getting when I was a member. It’s nice too that they have several different boxes varieties each month based on the individual profile despite the fact that my profile was “broken”. It was like a treasure hunt to see what your box number was and try to find it on blogs before you received it.
I’ve been getting this box for a few months and I still like it. Some months they even send you a $10 coupon — paired with a sale has resulted in some high end products for much less out of pocket. I’ve been happy with the product selection thus far. I don’t mind getting some low end brands (NYX) along with high end (SK-II, Tarte, Origins, etc) b/c I don’t always need the most expensive of everything and it’s nice to have options. The value is always way more than $15.
You should get what you’re paying for. Sorry but if I wanted NYX or other drugstore brands in my beauty box then I’d just get the Target boxes for $7 a month…those have more than 5 samples and a coupon too. This box is really not worth the $15 a month since there are other boxes w/ high-end brands for cheaper (Sephora for example, or Allure which is $15 but all prestige brands). YMMV but I want the best bang for my buck.
Yup…besides, you can get NYX and Essie for really cheap at CVS or Ulta. Don’t need that in a beauty box I’m paying 15 bucks for lol
