Question – how would they know if I was redeeming from Ibotta?
I was wondering the same
I’ve redeemed offers for the same product on the same receipt on both apps and I’ve never had any issues… I would think it would more likely fail based on the target cartwheel coupon which will be on the receipt. I don’t know though. I’ve never tested that scenario before.
The owner of Hip2Save does not want to encourage readers to go against the policy of Checkout 51.
Arnold – I get that – just wondering how Checkout 51 would know
Checkout 51 and SavingStar apparently use the email address you used to sign up for each app. If you use the same email address on both apps, they can cross-reference which offers you loaded. So far, I don’t believe they are sharing data with ibotta.
But if that were the case – they should not advertise to use the cartwheel – that is an in app coupon
CW % offers aren’t an app coupon, but rather a store discount. Like make your own sale kinda thing. In-app is referring to digital manuf q offers.
my checkout 51 only have 1 flavor.
If anyone is signed up for Unilever emails, be sure to ck your inbox. I got one this past wk with $1 off Any Popsicle Product!
Awesome, thanks for sharing Mel!
The 25% off Popsicle Cartwheel (exp 8/26) is back!
Thanks Siva!!
