   A little advice, pls. I only have a smartphone (Galaxy S8). Do they do something to make the pictures look better? The ones I get from Walgreens aren’t that great but what can I expect from a phone? Will the quality be like a Walgreens photo? Thx!

  It depends on how many megapixels you camera on the phone is. Less megapixels the poorer quality of photo. Shutterfly normally has a orange triangle pop up if the photo will be poor quality in the size you want. As for the actually print color and quality of photo paper Shutterfly is better in my experience.

  I have an S8 & LOVE the prints I get from it. BUT the TRICK is to learn how to use it. Its not hard I promise! Simply Google Samsung S8 camera toutorials. Just changing a few settings willchange ur pics from meh to woah!! The camera on the S8, is nothing to shake a stick at! In fact it rivals most point & shoots & many nonprofessional DSLR’s! Good Luck!!

  Walgreens has terrible quality. Your phone should be sufficient, I have an original Moto x phone (6 or so years old) and never any probs with Shutterfly. If the photo quality is too poor for the book, Shutterfly let’s you know when you put it in.

  Your phone should take great photos! Check your settings to see if you are taking them at a high resolution. Some people turn that setting down to save phone space since higher resolution means bigger file sizes.

  Also, you should upload the original photo, not one you saved down from Instagram or Facebook. Those saved down files have web resolution, which is very low!

  I have a Galaxy S7 and my photos that I upload to shutterfly always turn our great.
