Through September 29th, Walgreens is offering a Free $10 Walgreens Gift Card when you purchase two $25 Hulu, Spa Week, The Children’s Place or Kohl’s Gift Cards. Keep in mind that this offer is valid in-store only.

I headed to Walgreens yesterday and took advantage of this gift card promo, then rolled my free $10 Walgreens gift card onto a second transaction to score FREE Halloween candy and laundry detergent!

Buy two $25 Kohl’s Gift Cards
Buy $10 Walgreens Gift Card – will be free at checkout after you enter your phone number associated with your Balance Rewards account

Question- Can you pay on your Kohl’s charge with the gift cards?
I am pretty certain you can no longer use gift cards to make payment on your Kohl’s charge.
No you cannot
With the hulu gift cards can you pay your monthly fee? Its something I pay anyways.
If Hulu works the same as Netflix for payment then yes. We do it all the time. You just go into your account and load the gift cards. Then the monthly payments will come off your “account balance” (which is the credit from the gift card) first. Then it will just revert back to charging your credit card when it is depleted. iTunes works the same way. HTH!
can you do this deal more than once- purchase the kohl’s gift card and receive the walgreens card free?

According to Walgreen’s policy you can’t use points to purchase gift cards! Hope that helps!
Do we need to bring the Walgreens gift card to the register and tell the cashier to put the $10 on it or will it prompt on their register like the $5 target ones do? Thanks!

Can I use a giftcard to pay when I checkout online at Kohls but still get my cardholder discount/free shipping? I am a cardholder, but wouldn’t be using my card to pay – does that make sense?
Julie – No, you have to pay at least part of your balance with your Kohls credit card in order to get the cardholder discounts/free shipping. I usually just add something small and inexpensive from the clearance section to get my total above the gift card amount,, then pay the remaining balance with my Kohls credit card to get the free shipping.
Yes Julie…I have done this often. I have never had a problem…in fact…it was first suggested to me by the gal at Kohl’s customer services!
Yes I have used both promos and paid the full balance with a gift card no problem.

I think this is a regional deal. Not available at my stores in VA. I wonder where this deal is working.
I thought it would prompt the cashier to give me the gift card like target and like I said he was confused so I guess I bought $50 of giftcards but no free walgreens card. Any suggestions?
Call walgreens customer service, they’ll straighten it out.
The Red Plum coupons that are linked from your deals NEVER 🙁 work for me. The ones I want are just not there. I try a bunch of different zip codes and nothing. Different browsers and nothing. Different computers and nothing. Harumpf.

Well that kinda stinks….I went into Walgreens last night to get this gift card promotion and it didn’t work. Now I’m stuck with $60 worth of gift cards I wouldn’t have otherwise gotten. 🙁
Just got off phone with Walgreens and they offered to give me $10 in bonus reward points to use at the store to remedy the situation.
