Do a lot of people still watch dvds? I thought more people had started watching digital content like movies on Netflix, Hulu, ect.
Call me old fashioned but yes dvds are all we watch…i have tried a few times to revert to the whole streaming trend but i do not like paying for a service that doesn’t provide what i need or want and that seems to be the case more often than not with streaming…they don’t have specific shows/movies i am looking for. So i have made sure (as i always have) that if there are movies or shows we love to add them to our personal library (when they are a great deal of course) and posts like this help me to spot the ones we want but don’t have yet. Thank you hip2save 🙂
Same here, I’m old fashioned and don’t stream anything!! We have cable and that’s it. But do try to pick up a DVD every once in awhile that someone likes 🙂
Not everyone has reliable internet (in my old apartment it would go out for at least one or 2 days a month.) Plus not everything is always available. I buy far fewer movies but if I really love a movie I’ll wait till I find it on a good sale and get it.
Yes! We have a portable DVD player in my car for my kids go watch on road trips. And occasionally we’ll watch our favorites inside too when it’s not available to stream.
Love biglots, but these same blu-ray+DVDs were at dollar tree. I saw Shrek, Fault in Our stars, and E.T. at the store for a $1. Just a heads up.
Oh wow! Great find for sure! Thanks for letting us know what you spotted at the Dollar Tree! We’ll have to keep a lookout for those in our stores too!
I love 3D Blu Ray’s. They look amazing and it’s hard to watch flat movies after seeing one. They are usually $20-30 for a 3D disc. My local big lots had 3D versions of Shrek 2, 3, and 4. Kung Fu Panda, Rise of the Guardians, and Megamind. I got all 6 for $30. What a steal!
love big lots movie grabs super cheap but it really needs to be a movie i dont have and it must be a movie that makes my movie collection basically it either has that classic feel to it…which will never get board of watching.
