Where do I go on Amazon to look at my freetime subscriptions? I thought I had an active one already. Will this just extend it? (FYI – I was able to purchase this and the Mickey headphones with no issue. The Coco ones would not work.)
Hi Ashlie! If you go to Account & Lists -> Memberships & Subscriptions you’ll find your FreeTime info listed in there. I was already a FreeTime Unlimited subscriber, and instantly received an email saying a pro-rated credit for this month would be applied to my credit card, and then the new subscription was automatically applied. I am already a subscriber to FreeTime, but when I tried following the steps listed in the post above, it didn’t work. It just said “Thanks for being an Amazon FreeTime Unlimited subscriber. We’re glad to have you as a customer”, with no option to modify my subscription. Also I didn’t get an email saying anything about my current subscription being credited back to me or a new subscription starting. No idea how others were able to do this.
Same here nothing I contacted them afer searching and trying to figure out how to do it and they won’t let me do it because I alreay have it , but I only have 1 more month left.

Hi Beth! I was already a FreeTime Unlimited subscriber. I followed the steps listed in the post above, and received an email letting me know a pro-rated portion of my subscription would be credited back to my card. The new subscription then automatically started. Hope that helps!

No. Yoy don’t have to be a Prime member. I do not have Prime and got the deal with no problems.
I got the welcome email, but it doesn’t mention anything about free headphones in it anywhere.
If you click on the link where is says “learn more about this promotional offer here” it will show you the two headphones. You really don’t even need the email though since it’s applied automatically. Just click on the Hip2Save link for the headphones, add them to the cart and click checkout. Should show them for free. 😊

For those who don’t know amazon offers amazon underground when u go to the App Store on your child’s kindle there are a ton of free games on there for all ages and it’s completely free ! Those apps will appear on your child’s profile just like free time once you add the content 🙂

Yea, unfortunately I didn’t really care much for the headphones. I was more excited about an all in one app for my child. Seems weird to me that amazon would be secretive about iOS not offering the same benefits but charging the same price.

Anyone get an email saying their subscription has been cancelled? I got the confirmation email, I got the free headphones email, I got the free headphones along with a confirmation email saying they were successfully ordered but then moments later I received an email saying “we’re writing to inform you that your Freetime Unlimited service has been cancelled”. Does this mean the headphones will be too!? 😭 Why didn’t it work?
I did get all of those too – I chatted with customer service, then sent on to a ‘specialist’ who told me I had to cancel my subscription and then reorder the promotion. After venting to him about how difficult they made it for loyal Prime customers and then ranting about the free Prime shipping to everyone, he took care of the cancellation at no charge (duh!) and then I reordered using the links in the post – all seems to be well now and I successfully ordered the CoCo headphones. Crossing fingers nothing goes wrong with the Freetime subscription!

Is anyone else still having problems with the discount code not coming through the email? I got the welcome email from amazon immediately but no where did it say anything about the automatic discount for the headphones. No luck here. I was on the phone with customer service quite a while and their “specialist” said that since I was already using a promotion (free year freetime subscription that was included with my daughter’s tablet from last Christmas), I was not eligible. I tried getting them to cancel my free promotion which is set to expire in a month anyway but she said I still would not get the $2.99 deal. I can’t hold any grudges against Amazon, they’ve been good to me in the past on other issues. Good luck to everyone else.

Same. I’ve been on the phone with a customer rep for 40 minutes trying to figure it out. They can see everything I’m doing when I try to check out and they say I’m doing it right, that it might be a technical error so I’m on hold. Hopefully they get it fixed soon
So, he said they found a technical error they were not aware of. That’s why the promotion isn’t showing now. But he said to try again tomorrow and maybe it’ll be working by then. The promotion doesn’t expire until March so there’s time

I just got the Wreck it Ralph headphones. The one showing up on the selection page saying….only 16 left in stock….is not sold by Amazon. I changed it to the one sold by Amazon and it was free. There were 18 headphones left a few minutes ago so I think people are ordering the incorrect one.
