…at McDonald’s. 
Through December 12th, 2018, Burger King is doing a “Whopper Detour” and offering up a 1¢ Whopper sandwich whenever you order with the Burger King App “at” McDonald’s! Even sweeter, NO purchase is required to score this deal, which means you can practically score an almost free burger! *Note – this may only apply if your store accepts mobile orders.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Download the Burger King app.
- Drive to your local McDonald’s (must be within 600 feet).
- Open the app and order a Whopper sandwich for just a penny
- Your order must be placed within one hour of unlocking the offer and picked up within one hour of placing the order.
- Pick up your sandwich at the nearest Burger King restaurant!
Note that your location services permission must be enabled in the Burger King mobile app to determine your proximity to a McDonald’s location and unlock the offer (must be within at least a 600′ distance).
What an awesome way to score lunch or dinner on the cheap!

I did this just a day or two after I heard about it and it was a piece of cake. In my town there is a McDonald’s and Burger King maybe 1000 feet from each other so it was super easy!
Mine is literally next to each other separated by the parking lot 😂
Tried This Several Times Wouldn’t Work Said I Had To Be Within 600 Feet I Was In Front Of The Mcdonalds So I Took A Picture Of Mcdonald Drove To Burger King And They Honored It!! LOL
I had to pay regular price even though my coupon unlocked and they would not give me a refund.
Not as easy as it sounds when your store doesn’t participate…even though you went to Mcd and triggered it. Glad others can enjoy though!

I tried with my husband and he loved it but couldnt do it himself so i’m still being in charge of keeping the bank safe.

Tried but the Burger Kings around me won’t take it. Even the app says item not allowed.
I sat in front of the door to McDonalds and it never could find my location to activate the coupon. I did it for 10 minutes and gave up. Doubt it would work here anyway. LOL Happy Holidays everybody.

just heard a news story related to this on the radio this morning. due to some sort of glitch, one man from California was charged more than $1k for his whopper causing large overdraft of his bank account. bk is working with him to fix it, but man, that must have been quite a surprise
this is why i do not put my own banking information on any game or app. I use a prepaid visa gift card of a low denomination and the worst they can do is take 15$ from me

Had nothing but issues trying to do this over the weekend. Also had a friend that couldn’t do it either. And once we went into Burger King to see if they could help we saw other people having the issues :'(

In Thomasville, NC they will not honor this deal and said no Burger King in NC will let you have a Whopper for a penny. He said they are not really Burger King. Sign says Burger King.
I had a terrible experience and never did get my one cent Whopper! What a rip. The app doesn’t work right and the manager hasn’t a clue.

Only works if you order with “mobile order” which is not available in all areas. Not available in Hickory, NC.

I tried this 3 times. Worked 2 out of 3. Not all burger kings participate in this. Found that the ones that do participate don’t check the app, so you can go again and again, lol.
