Has anyone tried these? How do they taste?
I’ve tried to the Chai flavor, which tastes like a very watered down chai protein shake—which I like. Just ordered the Cacao flavor to try. They keep me incredibly satisfied and full (never once thinking about a snack) well through lunch time and are 400 calories. The added caffeine gives me a boost in the morning, too. I’m planning to try drinking half of before my morning workouts and the rest after.
Like people!
Found this on another site.
“The fact that their own creator was in a documentary showing how little testing had been done on their product is scary.
Last I heard they were still packaging it by hand in a small space that looked very unsanitary.
This stuff is NOT regulated enough for me (or probably anyone) to consume on a regular basis.
Great concept, terrible execution”
Do you really think the FDA would allow this? This sounds suspicious to me. Where did it come from?
I get that the name is likely a nod to the film, but all I can think when I see this product is “Soylent Green is people!” 😉
My thoughts exactly. For those of you too young to remember, maybe you can find the movie Soylent Green on Netflix or Prime. Gives a whole new meaning to the term.
It doesn’t taste very good. Nothing I am willing to drink because it isn’t sweet enough for my family.
My husband likes the chocolate ones. He’s been drinking this for a few years and says the chocolate is his favorite. He’s lost a good 15 lbs and kept it off. He has one for lunch usually and it keeps him going until dinner time. Walmart and Target now stock them individually if you want to try one first.
