I don’t get what all the hype with this brand is all about. If I owned rain boots they would not get worn enough.

I have to say I agree, I don’t remember the last time I had to wear rain boots…

    • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

When I went to one of my daughter’s first class field trips, nearly every other mom there was wearing a pair! I was so surprised! I see them worn quite frequently now! 🙂

      • Lora

A lot of moms in my area do the Hunter rain boots, Michael Kors bag and black Chevy Tahoe or Suburban lol

        • Haseena

          Sounds like my neighborhood lol

I have a suburban. But in my defense I need it. I have 5 kids and it is one of the vehicles that can carry my family, and it has a trunk. Minivan drivers do not have a trunk. It is too small for a stroller and a weeks worth of groceries. Also, this can tow our pontoon boat to the lake and it can make it through our extremly bumpy driveway. My husban’s all electric car struggles. Lol. I was wondering why people buy over priced rainboots. I have a $9 pair from my local farm store. I use them all the time to take care of the chickens. No leaks, hold up like iron.

          • BrBa

Lol @ “minivans don’t have a trunk”. My Sienna has a huge amount of trunk space- more than enough for 2 strollers and 2 weeks worth of groceries. And unlike an SUV, it has power sliding doors, is low enough for younger kids to climb into easily, and has more head clearance inside to make buckling kids in easier…not to mention that it’s not gonna roll over in an accident. To each their own.

Can yours tow a 32′ travel trailer or a 20′ boat? Can it drive trrough 20″ of snow? I have a suburban that seats 9. Does your van seat 9? Did not think so. Suburbans are much more versital. I’d really like to see your van cart a complete load of 9 people two completely loaded coolers a potty seat, a double stroller and launch a boat. Lol it would cry its eyes out and die on the way there.

              • BrBa

It can tow up to 3500 lbs…nobody expects a minivan to tow a boat, Dan. It’s an AWD so it drives through blizzard conditions just fine, seats 8 comfortably, and holds coolers, luggage, potty seats, and 2 strollers…so why would I buy a car that can seat 9, or tow boats when I have no need for that? SUV’s just aren’t versatile for ppl w/ young children for the reasons I mentioned before. I’d like to see you open your car doors in a crowded parking lot without hitting someone’s door LOL

                • Daisy

So hilarious that a post about rain boots turned into a pissing contest for vehicles!!!

                • Rachael

My van sucks! I’ve been looking for a better SUV. My van has zero leg room for my 3 oldest 15, 13, 11, 7, 3. I can’t fit all the groceries, potty seat, and stroller in it. What kind of van do you have? It must be amazing. I have shopped for 3 years and can’t find one with a trunk. My mom had a Chrysler mini van with an extended trunk. But I don’t think they make those anymore. Please post your van’s make year and model. I really hate to spend the cash on a Suburban, yukon xl, expedition, or escalade. I HATE the idea of a 12 passenger van or the Nissan suv. I do tow a travel trailer but it is kinda lite, I think, not sure. It saves on hotel bill for my family when we travel. Thanks for the info. My cramped teens thank you.

I loved my Chrysler Town and Country so much that when it was time to get a new one after 13 years, I got the new Pacifica. I still like it, but the new design doesn’t have as much room in the stow and go area. Drives like a car. Seats 7. Automatic doors and lift including the hands free feature. Great on gas.

            • Lizzie

Team minivan here!! Love the sliding doors and how the seats can be folded down into compartments with minimal work rather than taking them out. Just loaded a whole sofa into it today!

        • Mel

          Lora how true lol😂😂

        • Yorkiemom4052

Just like sheep…no one has a mind of their own.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that people who buy rain boots probably live in a climate where it rains or snows a lot…

    • Amy K

I live in the midwest and I wear them when it rains and as snow boots with thick socks when it snows, which is about 6 months out of the year. Love my Hunters!

    • Jessica

I debated over a year to purchase some. I live in Houston and we have a few month of rain but nothing terrible. I ended up received them as a gift and I absolutely love them. I wear them a few times a week. When it rain, when it’s rained or when I am doing yard work. Some times if I am just being lazy and don’t feel like wearing “real shoes.” They are extremely comfortable unlike regular rain boots. You can wear them all day without making your feet hurt. Thanks to this deal I ordered myself a second pair.

    • karla

Pretty sure the draw is that Princess Diana was photographed wearing a pair. The Hunter name makes them a status symbol. Personally, the pair I bought from Aldi do the trick, but never owning a Hunter brand cannot make a fair comparison. I bought expensive cookware and it has lasted WAY longer than the cheaper stuff, so sometimes Expensive brands are better…

    Sold out in my cart…

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! I’m wondering if the size and color your chose went out of stock as you went through checkout. I still find many available of each style above as I click through now. Hoping that helps!

      • Shannon

I wanted the kids black in a 2. When you add to cart it says out of stock. It’s ok. Next time…

  3. Von D.

Got a few pairs and a rain coat! Now I’m waiting for a super deal on Sorel Joan of Artic boots! Thank you for all the great deals, I love this website so much!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO welcome! 🙌 Thanks much for the kind words.

  5. Musicmartha

Wish I fit Hunter boots : ( but I have a high arch and the boot doesnt give much so I found them uncomfortable. The only Hunter outlet there is, is located near me but when I tried on all different styles I never found one that felt comfortable. I ended up getting a pair of rain boot Uggs instead.

  6. Laura

These are great boots for rain and slush (still like my Columbia’s for the snow). My only complaint is that they are so stiff I can’t drive in them, so I have to leave a pair of slipped in the car.

  7. Lisa

2 out of 5 kids started driving themselves so I went down to a sentra!
