I like Barnana. Have not tried the other brand.
Oops!! They’re all Barnana. They just changed the packaging.
I thought the same thing! Lol
My kids love these – i will be stocking up, thank you for posting!! <3
does anyone know why the package says they are upcycled? i don’t get it. how can the food be upcycled? like, made from other food that people didn’t want?
so i looked at product description, and it says these bananas were saved from going to waste. instead of throwing them out, they “coat them with premium ingredients to make delicious snacks.” hm.
From their website: “We are on a mission to end food waste on organic banana farms by upcycling the bananas that used to go to waste. When “imperfect” bananas have scuffs, are a little too ripe, or aren’t the perfect size – they are typically rejected for export. We take these delicious bananas and turn them into snacks. Pretty cool, huh?” So the bananas are good and not used, just blemished and will not be sold in stores. That is actually where so much of our food waste comes from–imperfect produce. It’s cool this company has found a way to make a dent in that.
yeah — i was skeptical at first (before i knew what they meant), but then i decided i definitely want to try it. trying 2 flavors!
These taste like bananas 🍌 that are way too ripe!! 🤢
