My experience is that they are the same.
Have to say this underwear is true to size, your butt actually stays inside the underwear without any adjustments unlike VS

I feel like they are more true to size than VS. I was having trouble getting into an XL in VS and I am a L @ Aerie in most stuff.
I’ve tried these in the past but still prefer VS. I feel VS are have silkier materials. Plus Aerie doesn’t make vstrings

Mine have never shrunk. I’ve been buying them for years and they honestly hold up better then the VS I used to buy, IMO.
Mine haven’t shrunk either. I found these to be true to size and much better quality than VS, which I had been buying forever. I’ve been converted.
i agree with you, was surprised at all the folks saying run bigger or same….my daughter has been a S in VS forever, when I get her in a S in Aerie they are too small and do not cover her butt, she had to pass them on to her no butt sister
How is the quality with this brand? Is it comparable to an inexpensive pair of H&M underwear?
I bought these a couple of years ago when they had a similar deal. I wear an extra large in both Victoria’s Secret and in Aerie. These have held up super well, they really look new when they come out of the wash. I feel like they hold up much better than Victoria’s Secret for daily wear. I really enjoy the boybriefs!
Do they shrink? I usually buy one size up in gap underwear because they shrink a lot in the dryer.
I have never had a problem with shrinking and I wash and dry with my regular clothes. I’m a small and got these in small and they fit great after many uses! They are incredibly comfy and the quality is great!
These undies are the best! I’ll only buy Aerie brand until they make some drastic change. No shrinkage problems and true to size. Very soft and comfortable!

If you have Aerie credit card, free everyday shipping and you get great perks. I was a VS fan for several years but seemed the quality changed drastically, I tried Aerie and I love their bras, panties, the softest t-shirts and sweatshirts! And I think they have much better prices than VS.
