Contessa Cutting Board Meal Kits Only $9.99 at ALDI (Ready in 30 Minutes or Less)
Don’t have time to meal plan?
Head to ALDI where they have just released these new Contessa Cutting Board meal kits for two, and they are only $9.99 each! Awesome!
These seem like a great way to try new cuisines and recipes while getting dinner on the table fast!
The current meal kits include Crispy Fish Street Tacos, Cuban-Style Wild Rockfish, and Moroccan-Style Wild Salmon. All ingredients are included with all prep work already done so you can get these chef-designed meals on your dinner table within 20 – 30 minutes.
Wish we had these near us, I would love to try something like this… and it would be a great way to encourage my husband as he learns to cook more. We just had a 4th baby and this pregnancy was a difficult one on me, he did a great job of taking on more at home including cooking dinner and now he still does make dinner about once a week (pretty awesome since he works more then 40 hours and I am a SAHM) and he’s always looking for new recipes he feels confident tackling. And I love to find new recipes to add into my rotation without the pressure of buying a dozen new spices and ingredients before we try it.

Hook him up on Pinterest, my husband & I have been married 15 years & since we moved to a new house 2years ago, hell started cooking & enjoys it…. all thanks to Pinterest, my kids call it Fancy Food by Daddy 👨🏻🍳
Would this be in the freezer or the fridge section?
I saw them in the freezer section with the special buys.

I have gotten these for $5 at my local grocery store. I highly recommend if you purchase not to add the seasoning to the rice, its absolutely terrible, it completely ruins it.
I bought the salmon one yesterday and we tried it last night. Agree about the seasoning, it was awful. We plan to give it another go minus seasoning.
So many posts for this store lately, and we dont have one😭
Where did all of the target deals go?
Unfortunately there just haven’t been a lot of great deals at target beyond the weekly deal posts. I’m sure hip2save is still looking for great target deals and will tell us when they find them.
Hi Ana! You can find all of the HOT Target deals over here –> https://hip2save-com-develop.go-vip.co/save-money-with/target-deals-target-coupons/
Hope that helps!
Thanks for all the great aldi posts! I love them!
You’re very welcome!
I’m not overly picky… but my regular grocery store had these. I bought the rock shrimp one and a tilapia one. They were uneatable. Really really bad. ALDI has a great return policy so maybe it’s worth the try, but don’t have high hopes!
Just had the spicy Cuban. It was spicy. The flavors in the salsa were nice but I added way too much spice to the rice!
I bought the Morrocan salmon and now I reget not buying all three my Aldi offered. So good.
I tried the Cuban rockfish one yesterday. Totally out of our comfort zone – We’re generally not “fishy” fish eaters. It was easy to prepare and was tasty. I added some of the Cuban seasoning to the steamed rice, and highly recommend. Otherwise the rice would’ve been too plain.
We’ve tried both the Moroccan-style Wild Salmon and the Cuban-style Wild Rockfish meal kits (we’re not drawn to tacos, so didn’t try that one). They are well-packaged and come with very clear instructions. However, and it’s a big however, we won’t be purchasing them again. While the fish in both cases was fresh and attractive, the meals are way too spicy for us, and we didn’t even use the extra seasonings – threw them away. If the company offered other not-so-spicy cuisines (French? Irish? Italian? Greek?) we would definitely consider trying them. We love Aldi’s and shop there very frequently.
I was attracted to the Southwest Chili-Lime Tilapia….I am very good cook but like finding something different and self contained just not instant. WOW! Very impressive. I took the suggestion and added capers and cilantro. I still wanted a little more zest so I used a fresh lime to finish…Yum, yum! Can’t wait to try others. Great go to for me since I work 50 – 60 hrs a week and adding fish to me week is always a good thing….thank you.
You’re welcome! Thanks a bunch for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed that one!
we had the Cuban rockfish tonight. the fish was very good, but the mango salsa was too spicy and vinegary. i normally like spicy foods, but this was too spicy. didn’t use the Cuban spice packet.
We just ate the Pork Carnita Street Taco kit. It was really, really good. And I’m a taco snob. I’ll definitely buy again.
That’s great to hear, Angie Anderson! Thanks for letting us know!
We tried the Cuban Style Wild Rockfish. It was extremely spicy and I love spicy. Not thrilled with this one. Found a walnut shrimp kit and it was wonderful, we loved it. We still have the Fish Street Taco kit in the freezer that we’ve not tried yet. They are quick to prepare and instructions are simple.
Thanks! I think you just talked me into trying the walnut shrimp kit, Jean!
We had the walnut shrimp with broccoli and rice tonight. It was delicious!
Just had the the opportunity to devour the Congress Cutting Board” meal. Wow I was shocked on how to easy to prepare and how great it tasted. Usually you can except a less tasty meal when it’s frozen and convenient. It’s just the way it usually goes. But this is a meal equal to what several hours of preparation at home is like. Very satisfied and looking forward to stocking up on a few of the seafood varieties.
I Loved it too!!!!!! I will buy this again!!!
I love fish tacos and theae are fantastic. I am not the cook in our house and I made these. Very easy and very good. Want to try the cuban rockfish now.
I live in central Florida. Did see these in my Aldi. Where are you located? I will keep checking.
