Sesame Street is hitting the road!

To celebrate 50 years of helping kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder, Sesame Street is taking its first-ever nationwide road trip and hosting free, family festivals in participating cities this summer!

Each interactive family festival will include shows, giant mazes, treasure digs, photo opportunities, snack stations, and more – plus chances to win a Caribbean family vacation from Beaches Resorts! 🏖

Sesame Street characters Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster

While in each city, Sesame Street’s production crew will also be filming a new segment that will capture what kids love about their communities. The footage will be part of Sesame Streets 50th season, premiering in November 2019 on HBO. Check out the Sesame Street Anniversary site or their press release for more details.

Even better? These events will be completely free to attend, but you’ll want to register now – just click on the links above to register for your city’s event. However, note that everyone will be admitted on a first-come, first served basis, and you do not need to bring your tickets with you. So fun!

  2. Shay

How do you download and print tickets

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Shay! It looks like you won’t need to bring them, just be sure to register. It is first come, first served. Once you complete the registration, you should see a button to click on that says “go to my tickets”. There you will see your registration information. They will also send you your reservation code via email. Hope that helps!

      • Shay

        Didn’t send reservation code

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, I received mine almost immediately. Maybe check your spam, junk or promotions folders. Hope that helps!

  5. Katie

If you have to register but it’s first come first serve, are you guaranteed to get in?! This would be fun but it’s pretty far away. I’d hate to make the drive and be turned away with disappointed kids!

    • Shea

I would like to know this as well!

    • heather

This is what i’m questioning as well.

  10. Vin

Yeah I’m missing something. Why register if you dont need tickets to prove who you are? Sounds like a free for all? Help me understand the logistics here.

    • Michael

They will probably have a list of people’s name/address or whatever information they are asking for and ask for ID? Seems like that’s what they might be doing in order to avoid having to print tickets (creating unnecessary paper waste.

  11. Katie

Thanks so much! My daughters will love this!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Aww, good! You’re welcome, Katie! Hope they have a wonderful time!
