WinCo Shoppers!
For a limited time, head into your local WinCo store where you may spot McCormick Grill Mates Marinade Packets for just 10¢ each!
Grilling season is here so this would be a great time to stock up on your favorite flavor seasonings!
You can grab up to ten at this price and any additional packets are just 48¢ each. Considering these each sell for 98¢ or more at Walmart – this is a GREAT buy!
Check out Hip Sidekick Michelle’s favorite seasoning…
The garlic, wine, and herbs is my absolute favorite. I marinate my chicken in it for kebabs and always get lots of compliments.
The Memphis BBQ is great for grilling chicken breast. It’s a favorite at our house!
I have liked that one too, Lolie! Thanks for sharing!
So glad they’re having this sale again! I stocked up last year and need to replenish my supply. I love to use them when we grill, but they’re also great for a super easy crockpot meal. I put a few boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the crockpot along with potatoes and veggies (usually carrots), mix the seasoning packet according to directions, pour it over everything in the crockpot and cook on high for about 4 hours. I was skeptical the first time I tried it, but it absolutely works and is one of our favorite meals!
Which kind did you use?
Zesty Herb is our favorite for the crockpot (and grill), but I’ve used others and they’re good, too.
Thank you😊
Such a great idea!
What a great price! No WinCo here, but my local grocery store has some varieties on clearance for $0.60-$0.75 . I was looking for one called Baja Marinade, but can’t seem to find it anymore. That one is great for chicken fajitas. Sometimes I even sprinkle it on the veggies for a pop of flavor.
Brown Sugar Bourbon and Memphis Pitt are great for ribs. I rub the dry seasoning on the ribs and wrap in alum foil. Marinate overnight. Then bake in the oven (still wrapped in foil, you want the meat side down) at 225F for about 3 – 3.5 hrs. Very carefully unwrap and drain off the juice, and flip the ribs meat side up. The meat should be very tender, so be careful when flipping! Slather on BBQ sauce. Put ribs back in the oven uncovered for 20-25 mins. I have one of those copper grill mats, so I put them on the grill for a few minutes. Delish!
YUM! Thanks for taking the time to comment! I LOVE ribs!
We just had the Baja tonight!! It’s delicious! We tried a new one – Mojito Lime – on chicken last weekend. So good! We love the Brown Sugar & Bourbon one too. We don’t have a WinCo otherwise I’d be stocking up too!
Wish we had a WinCo! The mesquite is our go-to for chicken or pork tenderloin on the grill. And the regular price at markets here is over $2 per package.
Winco really does have excellent prices:)
Love the brown sugar bourbon! Delicious for steaks
That is one of our faves, too, Susi! 🙂
Thanks for letting us know. I picked up a couple had to go to WinCo this morning so perfect timing. 🙂
Mesquite is our favorite. Great for chicken, steaks, or pork. I just tried marinating thin, bone-in pork chops in the mesquite (for about 24 hours), then broiling them – AMAZING!
Thanks for posting this!! I picked some up the other day, but hadn’t had the chance to tell y’all!!! I love how “on it” y’all are!! $.10 is a GREAT deal!!
Aww, Thanks for the sweet comment! You’re SO very welcome!
yes, picked up a variety yesterday! also, while checking out, i noticed TicTac Gum, 56ct (blue label), fresh mint, for 21 cents! i picked up over 12! i think the ‘clearance label’ is pink. (at the Midwest City, OK store)
Wow good deal. If.its just clearance and not a sale I’m guessing not all stores will have the deal. I might have to go check tho 🙂
Great score, Jeanette! Thanks for sharing your find with us!
