I picked up the Fall scented wax. It smells soooo good! I thought they’d smell “cheap” since they were so “cheaply” priced but they really smell good and I’m heading back for more tomorrow!
Yay! Glad to hear how great it smells! Thanks for letting us know how much you liked it!
Is there any way to still purchase the pumpkin spice candle? It’s so amazing! I was just given one and the smell is so strong and great I definitely would love more!
Hi Kelley! These items are available in store only. You could always double check to see if your location might still have them. Hope this helps!
Huge Aldis fan here….I have purchased a lot of wax melts from them because they are so cheap. They smell great when you first buy them…but does anyone else think their scents aren’t that strong once you melt them…or they lose their scent fast?
Yes Sara! I agree, the wax melts smell great on cold sniff and when you burn them but they don’t last long at all. The scent fades really fast.
I only buy the Better Home and Garden ones at Walmart. They seem to have good staying power. Do not buy the Mainstays brand, only good for one day.
good to know about the BHG ones…will give them a shot.
I love aldi, I just bought the teal accent table for $69.99 target has one that looks identical for over $100
Oh wow! Nice buy, Amy! Thanks so much for sharing your score with us!
Does anyone know if these are soy candles?
These are not…I am realizing there is a fairly big difference between Aldi’s soy candles and their regular wax ones. My favorites by them are the $3.99 soy based ones that resemble the Bath & Body Works candle. I passed on these when I saw they weren’t soy based. Purchased a few in the past that had “prettier” packaging but don’t smell as good or have that scent power that I like! Plus they are usually a few dollars more so I wait til I see the soy ones as well.
Thanks so much for the reply!
No problem!
behind the wax melts, does anyone know what those cute little blue and white blankets are selling for? price and size?
Jen, from the store flyer it looks like the Huntington woven throw for $12.99. No details about size…sorry.
Thanks!
I was just at Aldis and saw the “pumpkin” candles. I liked the mercury glass look but the scents are totally underwhelming. My store had three scents and the two pumpkin ones were so light as to be nearly nonexistent–one was even pumpkin spice! The apple scent reminds me of every fakey apple-scented air freshener that Glade puts out. Still, I might have purchased one if only they had lids so that they actually looked like pumpkins. In person, it really doesn’t look much like a pumpkin. Love Aldi, but their candles are very much hit or miss in terms of quality.
Darn! Thanks a ton for the honest comment, Erin. I haven’t grabbed any of these fall scents yet.
Was also just at Aldi and I agree that the pumpkin mercury candles are meh. No scent and no lid. Not worth it for me. On the other hand, the pumpkin crispy O cereal u posted about yesterday is tasty! A nice light treat, I like to enjoy it dry while I sip on coffee 😊
So glad the cereal has been a great one for you! Thanks for the feedback on the candles, Mrs BK!
I actually just got 2 of the candles today. It would have been better if they had lids, but they look beautiful when they are lit and smell good. I def think they are worth the $5
Did anyone purchase the set of 3 beautiful designed fall candles that are battery operated? I am curious if they light up nicely, becasue the prints on the candles for fall dinners, Thanksgiving are beautiful.
I got them last time they came around and do not recommend them. They come on throughout the day without being turned on, and the timer function only works on one of them. Furthermore the batteries run down much quicker than the ones I bought at JoAnn Fabrics. I’d pass on the Aldi ones and use JoAnn coupons to get better ones for not much more money.
Purchased one of the mercury pumpkin candles yesterday and I’m pleasantly surprised. It burns well and looks really pretty at night with the accents on the glass. It isn’t the strongest scent I’ve ever had, but worth the value. 🙂
