I wanted to buy a sandwich press, but saw they are really expensive, hard to clean, and take up a lot of room. I saw this cast-iron press and thought it would work perfectly with a skillet. I just got through making a grilled cheese in my skillet and used the cast-iron press to make the cheese and bread stick together nicely. It worked beautifully!
