ID process was difficult and did not work. We tried uploading husband ID. Wasted 15 minutes and was denied for some reason. He is a Doctor. Should have worked.
Mine says Id verified but doesn’t take off the 40%
Hey Amy! Once your ID is verified, try closing out the page and going back in to the checkout page and clicking on the Apply a Promo Code or Discount button again and logging into ID.me. I was able to log directly into my account and the discount automatically applied. Also, if you’re on a phone you may want to try a computer as the page redirects a few times which may cause issues on mobile.
Thanks. I’ll try some of those ideas.
Hey Katie, I’m a CNA and was able to register under the Nurse category. I first uploaded a photo of my work ID as it appeared that was acceptable but it denied me. I then posted a screenshot of my CNA license from the registry and it was approved. I’m not sure what you guys uploaded, but just thought I’d pass that tip along. Their website reads as though an ID badge works, but it did not work for me.
Got registered just fine. Under armours cart doesn’t have an option to do this as a teacher. Just first reponders (fire, police, emt), no teacher
NOTE: For teachers it said to choose Responder
I just messaged them in live chat and they gave me a code.
FYI to be considered a “healthcare professional” through real ID you have to be a doctor or nurse. Additional medical staff and laboratory staff do not qualify.
This is false. I had no issues qualifying an signing up through real ID as a Physical Therapist.
I’m and educator and it worked for me. I had to upload a copy of my teaching license to get verified.
Where did you go to register as a teacher?
How did you register as a teacher? It doesn’t show that as an option for me.
thank you! It worked for me as a teacher!
You bet!
Pharmacy workers in a hospital do not qualify for the 40% off discount?
Apparently not- super easy at ID.me but doesn’t give me the discount either
What about postal workers??
It asked my sister for her SSN. Super sketch
Id.me asks this to verify your information as well as proof to be uploaded. As a first responder, I can personally vouch for this site and I use it for many things to obtain discounts
My wife is a teacher but I am a postal carrier I dont understand why we get ignored we are out every day during this delivering medication and medical equipment and risking ourselves also!
I register the other night but today I’m unable to get the 40% discount code I’m healthcare worker.
DARN! Maybe try contacting customer service. Another reader did have success that way. You can do that when clicking through the post link above, and then scroll down to the “Live Chat” option. Hope this helps!
I’m a certified athletic trainer with a BLS from the American Heart Association and I work for a hospital. I do not apply for the discount. I should qualify as a first responder and healthcare worker but id.me has very strict guidelines. Can you please change the title of your article to say nurses instead of healthcare workers? Many healthcare workers will not be able to get this discount.
Darn! Sorry to hear that. Thanks so much for bringing that to our attention, Caitlin. The post has been updated.
This is copied straight from UA’s website:
“Who is eligible?
ID.me powers discounts and special offers for the Active Duty, Retirees, Veterans, Military Spouses, Military Family Members, as well as First Responders including active Police, Fire, Nurses, Doctors, medical staff and EMT customers.”
I agree. I am a board registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer going into covid rooms and I don’t qualify.
No way!! Asking for all personal info – date of birth and social security number. I’m a first responder but not providing this info to a clothing store app.
Is this discount for retired Military, that put in over 20 years also?
Yes it is my husband is a veteran and we got 40% 0ff used troop ID!
I definitely think the discount should also be extended to HHA workers as well. I don’t believe it should just be doctors and nurses
FYI- if you have a Shoprunner account, you may also get FREE SHIPPING. (I think i got an account/invitation through Swagbucks)
Did not work, attempt to rectify via chat today, and couldn’t go through because coupon is now expired. What a joke by UA!
Oh darn! Maybe try giving them a call –
1-888-727-6687. Hope they may be able to help!
This is not for all healthcare workers, I.d me only has an option to register as a first responder, doctor, or nurse. All other medical staff is excluded from this offer. I am a physicians assistant working in the front lines and I am unable to benefit from this. They really need to change it to “medical professionals” instead of “nurses”
I am a PA also and couldn’t get the code to work. This really sucks. I am in a COVID tent.
Oh darn! I’m so sorry for the troubles. Be sure to contact them for help grabbing the offer! 844-729-4343 or email help@id.me.
What a great deal for those who qualify! Sadly, I’m a school counselor, and even though I have a teacher’s contract, I don’t qualify. 🙁
Is there a reason pharmacists aren’t included in this?
I agree. This specifically stated hospital staff, but I am unable to do it since I am not a nurse, doctor, teacher, or military or EMT. Not sure where we are suppose to apply for it. I am a hospital pharmacist.
Hi we are your last responders as morticians and funeral directors, can we qualify for the discount. We have licenses to prove out credentials with a picture
Truck drivers delivering essentials don’t get a discount?
I don’t want to give my social security number. Why is this asked for discount for first responders.
Does anyone know if this can be applied to their outlet items, or only full price items?
I’m a registered nurse and feel terrible that lineman, truck drivers, postal services, and all other hard working individuals do not qualify. I appreciate each and everyone of you. I need you to get through my day. I personally thank all of you for all that you do. Your hard work and dedication means a lot to my family and I. Well wishes. Please shout out who I missed.
