Shipping is free on a $50+ order; otherwise, shipping starts at $10.
I’ve been checking every day since they sold out of the ones that match my backpacks. I saw today that they were there but not the pattern I wanted 🙁 I was going to order one anyway, but the shipping was as much as the mask…$16 to get a VB mask is too much, no matter how cute they are.
Agreed, I’d wanted one but don’t need to buy $25 worth to get free shipping.
Free shipping is over $35. Steep, but I found these masks more comfortable than others.
I was going to get one, too, but I’m not paying $8.00 shipping, either. It could be shipped for much less.
Shipping was free for masks before – but with this new stock, it costs $8.00! I only wanted one mask, even though all the patterns they have been promising would be restocked were not. But the shipping killed the deal for me.
Same. I’ve been refreshing the page every morning and was excited because they were the size/shape I’ve been wanting (plus had the pocket for a filter). I just can’t spend that much for shipping.
Same. I was excited about the penguins too 😕 I ordered one last week and the shipping was free!!
Will NOT pay shipping of $8….
If you have shoprunner, you can get free shipping with a $25+ order.
Thanks so much for the helpful comment, Teresa!
Gone. 🙁
I still find styles available as I click through now. Hoping you can grab one!
The mask I ordered last time they had them was way too thin to be effective at all. The fabric and the liner are very open weave, which is not the kind of fabric that should be used to make a good mask. It did fit fairly well though.
Was it quilted or just the cotton material?
Not quilted. Just very open weave flat fabric.
That’s disappointing. 🙁 I assumed it would be a quilted one like so many of their items are. Thanks for letting me know.
Saw a few customers post photos in the reviews. Seems like the original batch was made in the US and with a heavier/tighter fabric and followup runs have been produced in China according to the tags (not judging, just proof they changed factories & materials) with a lighter weight fabric. The inner fabric looked almost see-through.
Thank you for your comment. I was about to buy them.
I placed a thick coffee filter in where a filter could be placed. This helps less particles get through
Thanks HIP2SAVE!! I missed your first posts for these but was able to place my order for masks and filters! I used my shoprunner account for shipping which made this an awesome deal for me! THANKS for always coming through!
It says free Shoprunner with $125 purchase for me. Boo!
Hi Marie! Another reader found that listed as well, however it did work for them at $25. Hope this helps!
Yay! SO happy you could grab them today, Kim! You’re very welcome! 🥰
Shoprunner says 125, but ships free with 25. I got a few to try, even though I don’t like these patterns. I don’t know if pattern I want will come back.
Was disappointed to discover Vera Bradley misrepresents size of the patterns on most of these masks. You think you’re getting a small tight pattern with a lot of detail, but that’s not true (with a few exceptions. ie flamingos, turtles). See some actual photos on ebay of what you get. (PS – $8 shipping? Come on…)
If you are near a Vera Bradley Outlet store they are carrying the mask and filters for the same price. The store I was in on Sunday only had one pattern left, but they had a lot of them in stock.
The material is what is used for the inside (lining) of the Vera bradley products not the quilted on the outside.
Our stores aren’t open yet, but thanks for the tip. Hopefully, they’ll open soon and have some. Not paying $8 shipping on a mask.
Norman’s Hallmark also carries these masks. They had the one with stamps pattern, but it’s out of stock now.
I disagree about the masks being too thin. The fit is wonderful and the coverage is perfect. I am a seamstress and the quality is great. Best masks I’ve tried yet. Highly recommended.
It may depend on which pattern you choose. The one I bought last month was almost gauze-thin. It’s not listed in this new batch.
I agree. I bought one a couple weeks ago and after washing in hot water and throwing in the dryer the fit is snug and perfect. I actually add a layer by inserting some scrap cotton fabric I already had into the premade pocket since I don’t have any filters. I like the style/fit so much I ordered some more today- I included a couple of the solid black ones for my husband per his request because he likes the fit too:)
I always just throw my worn out Vera bags away but now I’m wishing I had saved them. The body of the purses always outlasts the straps so there’s still a lot of good fabric there that I could’ve given to my friend that I’ve been buying my masks from.
I too was really happy to see masks back in stock but was really happy to grab filters this time around. Too many people are refusing to wear a mask or practice safe distancing so I wanted to protect ME as much as I could when I go out. $1.25 per filter is actually not a bad price for the added protection.
I got an email from Old Navy saying they are selling face masks. Tons of cute patterns as well as solids, also for kids. Most are backordered a few weeks, but there are lots of options to look though…

I went on nextdoor.com and found a local lady making great masks for $5 each. I was able to pick my fabric and also get masks for my children. Plus no shipping charge of course.
What a great idea! I love using nextdoor, Kim!
Made in CHINA.
I was actually reading the comments on the Vera Bradley site and noticed a poster stated that the first set she ordered from VB was made in the US and the quality was great, but the second set she ordered was made in China and the quality was less than acceptable.
I think these are the best masks I’ve tried, and I’ve tried Etsy, MV Sport, some other local vendors as well as a friend’s. I have a rounder face so I like that these are bigger and I think they’re veryyyyyy comfortable. We buy filters separately bc these are high, but as to the quality of these masks… I’ve put away my others. I love these. I got lucky and checked today before it even got posted here and got a good variety. I wouldn’t have even thought about it if I hadn’t seen them get posted about here, though. Thanks! Shoprunner doesn’t work for the bandana (java blue is my all time favorite pattern and was retired in 2006 so I was so excited when I saw these) but I spent over $35 so shipping wasn’t a problem. Still free. Thanks H2S!
You are very welcome! I’m so glad these fit you so well, Marie!
Don’t be upset if you missed out. These masks are cheaply made, so thin you can see through them. The are labeled “made in China” and it shows. Faded significantly with first wash. These are Dollar Sore quality. Sorely dissatisfied.
I got one for the pattern and made my own. You can always customize. No mask fits one size fits all. At least Vera Bradley ones are all cotton, means easy to breathe through.
Most are out of stock and agree with other comments about shipping cost. Not really a good deal
The pictures aren’t a good representation of these masks. They are super flimsy. The mask is also Huge on my face.
Thr filters are a waste of money too.
