I got 12 cans of chicken and wild rice for just over $13. Although this has a lot of sodium, it’s great as a quick “I forgot to plan dinner” type of meal. Thanks, Hip2Save!
That’s a great deal and a nice emergency dinner!
Showing over $12 for me
The tomato one gives you an automatic discount at checkout. You won’t see it until you head to the checkout page.
Show over $13 for me. Too bad.
This discount shows up on the checkout page. I’m still seeing it when I go all the way to checkout.
People can use a crock pot or make soup for about .10 a serving. Should cost even less for a corporation.
I guess they are charging for packaging and shipping.
Humm, they promised globalization would make products cheaper and we would get better food.
I also have a couple of thermos before 2010.
Everything you’ve said is true, Evie. But, here’s another perspective: I volunteer at a Ronald McDonald House Family Room, which is on-site at a local pediatric hospital. Often, families come in for a medical office visit, only to find that their child needs to be admitted as an in-patient. We have these soups on hand because they provide a quick, hot meal for a family who didn’t plan on having their day go as it did. They don’t have food with them or money to go to the cafeteria. Without these soups, they’d have nothing.
True. One of my four sons is a traumatic brain injury survivor at 12 and we lived at the Ronald McDonald House. These are quick and easy for a snack or mini meal when daily life is so uncertain and any decision, however small, seems overwhelming Thank you for your volunteering, Deb.
