Great machine! It’s fast, cheap, looks good, and works good. It has robust construction, strong lid, and long battery time – 14 hours if screen is turned down. Good screen view even at 45 degrees off angle, left, right, up, or down. It uses a USB-C charge port but has a chargeable USB 3.0 port too! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Super bummer that homeschooling parents can’t get on this. I’m sharing a computer with my oldest daughter to plan school stuff for my 7 yr old twins. This would help me out so much. 😭

My kids’ school emails aren’t .edu, so it’s not giving us the discount ☹️
Does anyone in your household have a .edu email address you can use? If you have a college account that’s still active maybe you could use that? I 100% agree that homeschool parents count as educators! Many places are catching up and offering discounts to homeschoolers.
Our private school ends with.org, not.edu. So we can’t get It either 👎🏼
I used my daughters and it ends with.net and worked? 🤷🏼
It’s taking me to ID me and telling me about college stuff and I have a middle schooler. Our school email ends in “us” not edu. Why have they complicated this?
Education domains get registered with each State’s Department of Education which in turn can be used to authorize educator or student deals like this. For example in California, the K-12 system has domains like xxxxxx.k12.ca.us but most don’t use that domain and separately register a .net or .org address. Long story, try those domains to get the deal.
By the way, this is an excellent Chromebook at a killer price with the deal.
After I signed in using my .edu email account, the $20 rebate disappeared and the discount dropped to $41 instead of $84. Anyone else having trouble purchasing this with the discounts?
I spoke to sales on the phone and the guy Jay was super helpful but couldn’t give me the discount that is being shown on this post. He said if I could provide a screen shot showing proof that this discount was applied by somebody who was able to successfully check out with the numbers and prices shown. I created and logged in with my educator email and only a $23 discount was applied.
