Hip Tips to keep in mind…
- Please keep in mind that you can change up this scenario to grab products that you typically use in your home as long as the total is $30.25 before coupons and pricing may vary in your area (this week only your total has to be $30.25 instead of $25 due to automatic savings at checkout). This is just one of the many scenarios that you can do and save big!
- You will need to be logged in to your Dollar General account in order to see all of the digital coupons mentioned above. You can clip the coupons in advance or scan the products with your DG app in-store, however, my store has spotty service so I like to clip in advance. Some coupons may not come up by searching the name, so you’ll need to open the digital coupons page and scroll if you don’t find it immediately.
- I find that it works best to enter your phone number into the keypad AFTER the cashier has scanned all of your items and hit total.
- Be sure to check out with a cashier! I’ve tried self-checkout at two different stores and my digital coupons did not all apply to my purchase even when I entered my phone number!

The chances of any DG near me having all these items in stock at once are slim to none
Hoping you find them in your store!
Thanks! I have to clip my coupons in advance as well due to spotty service at my dg.
You’re welcome! YES! I clip them before heading in too! Happy shopping!
I always use the app to create a fake order pickup to see which one might have everything.
Thanks for the helpful tip, Amber!
Thank you. I did this and found what I needed. Subbed purex (with coupon) for Kotex and suddenly salad, still under $12 at checkout. Yay!!! I’dve paid that much just for the soda.
Update: even though what I ordered online said it was in stock, when I got there to pick it up, I was short two of the powerades and they had no Diet Coke 12 packs in the store, which skewed my order and discounts. 😖. Not sure I would do this again with Dollar General.
Just to clarify- $3 will automatically come off if I spend $10 on Colgate products or is there a digital coupon (because I can’t find one)? Thanks!
Yes! It looks like that should discount automatically with a qualifying purchase.
Hi there Sherry! You are 100% correct, I actually did the spend $10 save $3 deal earlier in the week to make sure it works with those three items and it does come off automatically!
I cannot find the coupon for the month wash
It could be regional. If you don’t have the mouthwash, you can change the scenario a bit with the coupons you may have.
Mouth*
Maybe that. Thanks
There is also a coupon in my area that gives a free Dove deodorant if you buy a Dove body wash.
Also, there is one for BOGO for Suave hair products too.
Wahoo! Thanks, Dorothy!
