I got this for my 2-year-old to play in. Her older brother has tents and tunnels so I figured this would be all hers. I was wrong! My 9-year-old impulsively opened this up and had it put together before I even realized it. It pops open easily and all you have to do is attach the steam stack via the Velcro on it and a stabilizer piece on the inside of the tent. I read over the instructions to be sure he had done everything correctly and was pleasantly surprised. So just a heads up, set up is a breeze! It is larger than I was expecting it to be. My kids are tall and both fit in it comfortably. There is no bottom to this tent and it can wobble a bit depending on if it’s on hardwood or carpet flooring but the kids don’t care. Any Thomas the Train fan will love it!
Bought this for my 3-year-old nephew who’s completely obsessed with everything train related, and especially Thomas the Train! Seeing the smile on his face when we opened this up and it popped open immediately, was worth 10x what I paid for it! He played with it non stop for 3 days, and when he was done playing he would put all his toys inside of it, which was a nice touch, since that way my brother didn’t have to pick up after him! LOL
