This Reader Saved BIG on Allergy Meds By Stacking Coupons at CVS – Over 60% Off!
One reader stacked coupons to save on popular allergy medication.
Fall allergy season is upon us! Do you need to restock your medicine cabinet? This week’s Happy Friday reader, Elena, scored a huge discount on brand name allergy medication. She used the clever money-saving trick of stacking coupons and rewards to save 60% on Children’s Zyrtec and Children’s Allegra! 💰
Here’s how Elena did it!
“Well, my son has eczema due to many environmental and food allergies, he needs Allegra and Zyrtec on a daily basis. I always get them from CVS. It’s the cheapest.”
“I stack manufacturers coupons, CVS dollars, and because I always buy there, they keep sending me percentages coupons. I saved 60% of the price plus $3 in ExtraBucks. I have been getting toothpaste there too lately and it works.”
Nice job, Elena! 🙌 You scored a huge discount on much-needed medicine! Thank you for writing in to tell us about your recent savings! This info is sure to help the Hip Community save money as they stock up on supplies for allergy season.

For anyone unaware, Sam’s Club sells a generic Children’s Zyrtec 2-pack of 8oz bottles for only $7.98. They sometimes have additional offers, but $4 per bottle is already fantastic and might be worth the annual membership cost alone, depending on how many bottles you go through a year.
Thanks so much for that helpful tip, Joe C! Good to know where you’ve found a great price on children’s allergy medicine! 🙌❤️
Not to belittle her savings, but you can buy the generics of these meds MUCH cheaper than the name brand. I take generic Zyrtec and buy a whole year’s worth for around $7.00 when on sale. Just check the labels to make sure you are getting the same medication and dosage. And remember….name brands are not always better!
Great! 🎉 Thanks for sharing, Thriftypuppy! Happy to hear you’ve been able to save by purchasing generic versus name brand with the same medication and dosage! 💕
