ALDI and Instacart are delivering Christmas cheer right to your door! 🍷🍺😁
ALDI just revealed plans to simplify your holidays by delivering wine and beer right to your home via Instacart! The grocer announced in a press release that alcohol delivery is now available nationwide (where permitted by state and local laws).
About 60% of the 1,400 ALDI locations that sell alcohol are currently permitted to deliver it via Instacart. Now, ALDI shoppers can choose from the selection of wine and beer at those locations and have it delivered to their door in as little as an hour!
“The busy holiday season is fast approaching, making convenience more important than ever, and adding alcohol delivery to our online offerings is one more way ALDI saves you time,” said Scott Patton, Vice President of Corporate Buying, ALDI U.S. “Our award-winning wines range from less than $5 for 90-point rated Evanta Malbec to $12 for premium offerings, such as 92-point rated Peaks & Tides Cabernet Sauvignon. You can have a bottle delivered to your doorstep in as fast as an hour.”
Now through December 31, ALDI and Instacart are offering FREE delivery for first-time customers. Simply place an order of $35 or more via the Instacart website or app, and enter the code ALDIHOLIDAY19 at checkout.
To see if your local ALDI qualifies for delivery of alcohol, visit shop.aldi.us or open the Instacart mobile app, enter your location and ALDI store, and search for beer and wine to add to the virtual basket.
Customers ordering alcohol must be at least 21 years of age. You’ll be required to enter your date of birth at checkout and present a valid government ID at the time of delivery.
