I love the added ability to have bins, which we use for various different types of sensory play (water beads, rice, dry beans, water play, rocks, etc.) and the other side has been perfect for LEGOs. I highly recommend it! It is also easy to wipe clean and seems water-resistant.”

Caution on the white and light colored wood one. We had that one and my very well behaved toddler lol, used it as a stool and the legs just snapped underneath her. So if you have a climber and they would use this chair for other purposes, likes playing with light switches, getting a snack etc. This might not be the chair for them.
Wow. Thanks for the honest feedback. Our daughter’s nickname is Monkey Fingers…she can literally pick up her whole body onto the kitchen counter using just her fingers. She’s seven. Loves to climb so it’s definitely a pass for us. Was thinking of getting it for our grandson ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thank you so much for letting us know! We sure appreciate that, sharon!
We had that set for years, and my little was that type too but we kept it in the kitchen and had a gate blocking that area without an adult. Nothing ever snapped on it but we put it together securely and used wood glue. I wouldn’t recommend an adult sit in these chairs though because an adult relative thought that would be okay!?… And the chair didn’t break down but the white part (thinner wood part) started to buckle and I repaired it. The set is worth the 29.99 but I’d recommend getting one of the nicer sets for a bit more if you want it to be something nice enough to pass on. I just tossed this when my child outgrew it.
Thank you for the info!
Does ikea ever do free shipping?
I have never seen free shipping from them
Warning: number 4. the FLATT one is very light and tips backwards very easily. We had it and I wouldn’t recommend that one. Not sturdy.
THe chairs tip backwards I mean.
Thank you, Katrina!
I don’t recommend white LATT table and chair. It didn’t last through one kid. Not sturdy and broke fast.
We got COSTCO version that is good as new after two kid used it. Adults can sit in these Costco chairs as well – thats how sturdy it is. Height is also better than in Ikea version (LATT/Ikea height is great for toddlers only).
