Unfortunately, millions of small businesses have already shuttered and many more are on the brink of permanent closure. If your small business has been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, you may qualify for short-term relief through the Save Small Business Fund. Keep reading!
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has launched the Save Small Business Fund, funded by corporate and philanthropic partners, as a collective effort to provide $5,000 grants to as many small employers as possible.
Applications are open now – all you need is your business’s W-9 form to apply!
To qualify, you must:
Employ between 3 and 20 people (including yourself and not including independent contractors).Be located in an economically vulnerable community. This is defined as the bottom 80% of the most economically distressed zip codes in the United States, as ranked by the Distressed Communities Index.Have been harmed financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Grants will be awarded on a weekly basis, but you only need to apply one time to be eligible for funding. The grants must be applied toward business expenses and the foundation will send a follow-up survey to all grantees to learn how it was spent and the impact that it made.
Thanks for the heads up. I handle all of this for my company. We were fortunate enough to get the PPP funds and I will now apply for this one. Heads up our banker informed us that the second wave of PPP applications will be accepted in 2 days. Good luck to all 🤓
