Do these look good on people who are not that skinny? I like them but worry the buttons will accentuate my tummy.
This is a great question, meg! I was wondering the same for me. I just went and read reviews and saw several that people said because they are high waisted and have stretch they were really good at holding in a pouch on their tummy. I saw this one included a picture, “These fit perfectly and hold in where they need to once you have kids. Not too tight and have a little give for women who have thicker legs.” If you scroll through comments, you can see the pic and I do notice it’s a nice high waist. And, after reading comments, it does say to size up. I hope this helps!
Meg, you should search “apt 9 tummy control” at Kohl’s. I found them a couple years ago and I have literally stocked up! They have many versions: bootcut, skinny, capris & shorts. I’m not skinny, curvy, thicker hips & thighs with leftover baby tummy fat. They even offer tall sizes, which I’ve always needed. I hated the muffin top feel in jeans but also didn’t want super high wasted. I feel so comfortable & sexy in them, they’re very flattering & I forget I’m even wearing them! I pray they never stop making them!!
Thanks so much Stacy!
I agree. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Apt 9 tummy control jeans!!! They have so much stretch to them but they keep their shape. No saggy butt or knees at the end of the day. And the high waist & wide, stretchy waistband means no muffin top! I’ve been ordering this brand in the skinny style for a couple years & they are my go to jeans.
They are flattering to my shape (I’m apple shaped, thick waist & butt, smaller legs & certainly not skinny lol)
Give ’em a try ladies!
These are great! I am a size 10 and they are flattering. Mine are mid rise so they don’t sit under my belly, they have enough give so no part of me feels restricted.
As a person that is not that skinny, I can vouch for the fact that these are great for all body types.
I don’t have these pants, but my same thought was that they probably won’t look the same on my body. 😂
Check out the reviews, Margaret! They are super helpful! Make sure to go through a few pages.
Any idea when the next free shipping code will come out?
I hope soon! They usually have one a month. We’ve had one in May, so maybe when June rolls around (unless we get a bonus one for May again!)
I like the high rise waist but not skinny suffocated ankles. My ankles need air.
