Ordered some for my daughters 8th birthday party. We did some a couple years ago for a different daughter and they were a hit. So, fun to see what the kiddos paint on them.
How fun! Thanks for sharing with us! Gad to hear they were a hit!
Can the mugs be used once the paints dried? Or will the paints be gone once washed? Thanks.
Multiple reviews mentioned that the paint will not stay on after been washed, but I think for a dollar and half it’d still be a fun project.
We did these 2 years ago and you actually put the cups into the oven to cure. My kids use the cups frequently and the paint has stayed on. I don’t put them in the dishwasher, which might make a difference.
What temperature and how long in the oven to cure the mug? Thanks.
Hi, I don’t remember the oven details but it came with instructions. It was the same brand as these, I can’t imagined it’s changed.
Thanks
Most of pain box were dry and pain won’t stay after wash

I bought the Sharpie oil-based paint markers when Amazon had some promotion a month ago. My kids (8 and 12) use this to decorate some white mugs. They turned pretty good. One of the reviewers posted the detailed baking steps. I guess you can also google it. You can buy cheap stonewares at dollar tree and get the kids busy. Just make sure that the items can be baked in the oven. You can also use the markers for different projects. Just check them out on Amazon.
Thanks. I did try google but wasn’t sure if all ceramic mug can handle the oven. It seems like a fun project, just don’t want to have an exploded mug to clean in the oven. Thanks again.
My kids did this for fathers day we use an ordinary mug from dollar store and baked it at 320F for 30 mins, actually I use an airfryer to bake it.
Thank you!
