Starbucks White Tea is Disappearing from the Menu
Starbucks is discontinuing another favorite!
You never know how long a Starbucks drink will be around, and rumor has it that the latest drink disappearing off the menu is their White Tea. Black, Green, and Passion Tea options will continue to be available.
Select stores may have stock longer than others, so if you’re a White Tea fanatic, be sure to fill your cup while you can!
The good news is that for specialty drinks like the Guava White Tea, the Guava flavoring will still be available in the Guava Black Tea.
Similarly, for any drink you normally ordered with White Tea (like shaken White Tea with lemon, Peach White Tea, etc.) you can just substitute for a different choice of tea.
You might have also heard that Starbucks is discontinuing their Skinny Mocha, which contains skinny mocha syrup, espresso, and steamed non-fat milk. Fortunately it appears that it is only their sugar-free hazelnut flavor that has been discontinued -both the sugar-free vanilla and sugar-free dolce syrups are still available. Thank goodness!
Oh, that’s too bad. Their peach citrus white tea was my substitute if I didn’t want iced coffee. Ah well!
Does anyone know what kind of white tea they use? Would love to buy a similar kind if possible. The guava white teas are my favorite and I don’t think it will taste the same with black tea 🙁
Their tea brand is Teavana.
I’d suggest trying it with the green tea. I don’t go to Starbuck’s but I love fruity green teas I’ve had at other places. 🙂
Oh no! What does that mean for the keto horchata? I’ve loved having that drink as an option.
No!!!! The white tea is the only tea I drink. This makes me so sad and very disappointed!!!!
This is so frustrating I use to drink green tea until a Barrista at my local Starbucks suggested white tea. Since I was trying to stop using the full 6 pumps of liquid cane she put 4 pumps of Rasberry in a Venti white tea and that was it …I fell in love with the drink and have been drinking it religiously for years. I took it down two pumps of Rasberry eventually. My local Starbucks told me about the cancellation of white Tea. I tried the green and black and it just doesn’t taste the same so, guess I will buy Teavana white tea and make it at home. I spend 18 to 20 dollars a week on this drink , It may not be such a bad thing for my pocket book. LOL
