My hobby lobby last week before Christmas had very little even left
Mine was devoid of anything except for a few floor model trees and wrapping paper a week before Christmas. Thought it was rather depressing to see their spring collection already out on display.
I feel like this year everything was pretty much picked over before the clearance even started Hobby Lobby Walmart Target everywhere
I know both dollar trees by me had NO wrapping paper…I always stock up but not this year.
Me too. I’m convinced they start putting stuff in the back to store for next year or they start throwing it out rather than giving 70-90 percent off.
An employee at Lowe’s told me that’s exactly what they do a few years ago. It’s all goes into storage until the next season.
Also a lot of company take it off the floor and sell it in pallets to wholesellers.. I’ve been seeing a lot of wholesellers resell a lot of Target and family dollar clearance items.
Select home decor is also now 75% off!
Thanks, Debbie! We’ll look for that!
Our store had one row. No wrapping paper. But a few novelty things and super cute paper plates. There was a ton of 75% off home decor – non Christmas.
Free shipping for $50 or more orders at hobby lobby through 1/2/21 see their website.
Thank you, Michelle B! We will get that updated.
I work for a large retailer in Marketing & our stores scaled back on the amount of decor, etc we ordered from our vendors that we send to our stores. No one really knew what the holiday season would look like financially & you don’t want to get stuck with it. We have to order these items in March/April, (that was the height of the pandemic) so we were more focused on getting the “pandemic” items vs holiday, this year. I can’t speak for all but that was US. I too was hoping to get some goodies for next year.
they have earned their reputation as a go-to source for liquidation pallets.
