I purchased “packaging damaged” items from their last sale and they were in perfect condition. Seriously, the boxes were the same that I would get at Williams-Sonoma at a fraction of the price. I did not venture into the 2nd quality items but both packaging damaged ones were something that would be sold as first quality in stores.
We recently purchased an induction stove and buying pans at full price is not in the cards. I bought a few D5 series pans at Williams Sonoma to get by but am happy to round out my collection. The pans are hearty! I like the brushed steel ones.
