After wearing Ester Lauder for years I switched to True Match foundation. Love it. Just as good. True Match Lumi is great too
This is my exact experience too! Loved Estee Lauder but the store i shopped at closed so I tried a few brands from the drug store. Glad I did and completely switched to L’Oreal and feel it is every bit as good as the more expensive brand.

Some things to cover: first you have to clip the mystery coupon. They come out as a preview usually on Wednesday or Thursday so check for it than. Second you very well might not have the earn $5 when you spend $20 coupon. They vary considerably from week to week. The last part is learning to calculate yourself whether you have met that $20 spend requirement. If you rely on Walgreens to calculate it for you I strongly suggest you use the app and not the website. Here is the formula if you look at it in the online checkout: ITEMS minus promo codes minus Walgreens coupons minus WC or Walgreens gift cards used to pay equals the amount you will earn back in Walgreens cash. The earn $5 when you purchase $20 worth of beauty products works exactly the same as a dollar threshold deal. True Manufacturer’s coupons ( not Walgreens have absolutely no effect since Walgreens gets paid on your behalf by the manufacturer. Examples: item costs equal $20 and you used $5 in manufacturer’s coupons and $2 in Walgreens coupons. For Walgreens purposes you spent $18 and would not earn either reward. Another example your item cost was $20, you used $5 in manufacturer’s coupons and a code like GET 10 for 10% off. Here’s how Walgreens calculates what you spent with a discount code:$20 minus $1.50 (discounts are after all coupons whether Walgreens or manufacturers are deducted) — so you again would not get the WC because you have spent $18.50. The key is that in a dollar threshold deal Walgreens will only count real greenback dollars that go in their profit column. Discount codes and Walgreens coupons and paying with WC take money out of the profit column. In Walgreens view you can’t use a freebie to earn another freebie. Yes it is very rare for me not to get the WC I thought I would because I always calculate it myself. I know it’s complicated and I’d be happy to explain anything I have said that it is confusing. Go over a few of your old receipts with what I have said in mind and I think it will become clear.
On the second transaction example, how can the ” Buy $20 Cosmetics…, earn $5 cash rewards” be given when the total came to $15.37 (below the $20 threshold) after the “$3 off my Walgreens digital store coupon?
Hey there! That should still apply for you as long as you meet that initial threshold for those qualifying items. Be sure to try this in the app if having issues on a desktop, as the rewards don’t always show on desktop. Hoping this helps! 🤗
So since is technically a “Buy” and not a “Spend” offer then as long as the subtotal is $20, it should still earn the $5 Walgreens cash? Also, if paying a portion with Walgreens cash drops the $20 subtotal further will the $5 WC still be earned?

This is a spend deal. Your OOP in the second deal or what you yourself pay Walgreens is $15.37 with a total of $7 in manufacturer’s coupons. Walgreens will credit that you have spent $22.37. No do not use WC to pay. The web site incorrectly bundles Walgreens coupons and manufacturer’s coupons together but you will get the correct WC rewards back. Use the app if you can.
Thank you, your explanation breakdown has helped me realize how to simplify any future transactions. Basically, as long as the OOP plus the manufacturer coupons subtotal meets the the spend amount (in this case $20) then Walgreens cash will be earned.

Yes that is correct. Also any amount of WC or Walgreens gift cards used to pay lowers what Walgreens will consider that you have spent. Also if you have multiple different threshold deals in your transaction check that you are meeting the dollar threshold on each deal. I hope that makes sense.
