A couple of our team members have this smart display in their homes…
I already heavily use my Echo in my day-to-day activities, but the Echo Show takes it to the next level! I love having it connected to my Ring doorbell, I can easily check in to see who’s at my front door, or my home in Puerto Rico! I’m a sucker for using the drop-in feature, and with the Echo Show, I can video chat as well. There are so many features and helpful uses, I can’t imagine getting everything I get done without it. – Hip Sidekick, Rachel
I received the Echo Show 5 for Christmas, and prior to that, I never thought twice about purchasing one for myself. However, within the first hour of unboxing it, I had already connected my Ring doorbell, Govee light strip, Fire TV Stick, and Spotify Playlist. I had also set two reminders, added items to my shopping list, checked the forecast, set a timer, and played specific songs while I made dinner using only voice commands.
I’m still figuring out everything it can do but I’m finding it to be incredibly intuitive and super handy to have around. It’s also worth noting that I am not technically inclined at all. – Hip Sidekick, Cass
We have the Echo Show 5 in our bedroom. We primarily use it to play music on demand and also have it linked to a Blink camera in our toddler’s room. Rather than investing in an expensive video baby monitor, we just use a cheap audio monitor and can ask Alexa to view our son’s room whenever we want to check in on him. It’s worked out great for us! – Hip Sidekick, Nicole
