Bought this as a replacement for a 10-year Breville blender that finally burned-out. The plastic pitcher on this one is much lighter than our old glass pitcher and is much easier to clean. It has lots of great mixing options and speeds that meet all our blender needs. It’s been great!
This Breville 5-Speed Blender is an absolute must-have for any active kitchen, and most especially with smoothie lovers, like mine. The fact that it has a self-cleaning button makes it even more of a dream machine when making different flavors; one right after the other.
Love it! As a beer drinker all my life, the Mrs suggested I broaden my horizons 8) So we bought this to make Pina Coladas, Margaritas & Daiquiris for evenings out on the patio. Works great! The only warning would be to not fill it too much with ice unless you also have enough liquid.
If I’m not mistaken, this is one of America’s Test Kitchen’s favorite blenders, so this seems like a fantastic buy!
