Jane.com Officially Relaunched Today!
Jane.com is back with hopes to be better than ever!
It’s finally time! If you’re a Jane.com fan and have been looking forward to their re-launch, now’s the time to start shopping!
Recently, the new owners expressed their commitment to rebuild trust from the Jane.com community and we’ve already seen tons of shoppers express how pleased they are with the relaunch. 🙌 However, they received such an influx of support that their site is running a bit slow, so be patient if you’re shopping tonight!

What happened to the old Jane.com?
If you’re not up to date on all the tea, Jane.com abruptly shut down last November, right as the holiday season was getting underway. 😔 After the sudden closure, tons of customers reported that orders were left unfilled. Meanwhile, sellers complained that they were locked out of the seller’s portal and not paid in a timely manner (or at all). The commotion even resulted in police opening an investigation into the site.
We were sure we had seen the last of Jane.com but just a few months later, the site received new owners who posted an online message acknowledging Jane.com’s shortcomings and declaring intent to earn back trust through transparency. They also voiced plans to improve the customer and seller experience, streamline product listings, and offer exclusive deals.
Did you hear that Zulily is also back?
The new Jane.com is hiring employees & looking to pair with sellers and influencers.
The old Jane.com burned bridges with many of its designers, sellers, and employees. However, the new owners (who have no affiliation with the previous owners) are looking for sellers, influencers, service providers, and employees who want to be part of the relaunch.
Visit Jane.com for further instructions on how to apply if you’re interested.
Will you sell with or shop at the new Jane.com? Tell us in the comments below!
New owners. I’m open to that👍
They owe previous sellers/vendors over 20 million dollars. I have an entire packet from DSI with all the numbers. Even with new owners it will be an uphill battle. Hard Pass.
I’m wondering how they’re going to resolve this, also! I know MANY small shops were devastated by this and are still owed money. Saying you want to “rebuild trust,” and heck, even taking over the site, is in poor taste until something is put into place for the formers sellers/vendors.
I can’t believe you would post this! Jane can not be trusted and they took people’s money and ran with it!
I can’t believe this is posted either!!…shame on them
Agree! How much is Jane paying for this post? So inconsiderate.
I am not sure why you are upset with the post- seems they are just informing us of the news and even reminded of what Jane did wrong. No need to shoot the messenger. They ask will you shop/sell again? Just share that you choose not to try them again and move on. I wouldn’t have known about Jane attempting this without this post and in no way do I feel they are endorsing them. No reason to “shame” Hip2Save.
The new owners seem to be the old owners, just under a different LLC. They’re using a name for the LLC that wouldn’t be well-known unless you worked at the company early on (I was there for 5 years, left in 2020). I wouldn’t trust their relaunch at all, they’re shady people.
Hey Zac! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with working with the previous Jane.com. 💕 When checking the FAQ, I did spot this –
Are you affiliated with the previous Jane.com owners?
No, we have no affiliations with the past owners of Jane.com.
Hoping this is still the case! ❤️🤞
I think its great and will help sellers sell their inventory!
Still not relaunched
I live local to this company, like drive by their building local, and personally would not trust them. Unfortunately, here in Utah there are tons of shady people running companies. It’s very common!
Same situation with the “new” bed bath and beyond website, along with overstock and zulily…etc. They are based in Utah and when you hear firsthand from people who worked there, it’s hard to trust what they are telling the public. The same can be said of the Youtubers in this area. They are all fake…but people can choose whether or not they want to support them.
For everyone posting, I am very familiar with this situation. The previous C level executives over leveraged themselves with the buyout from the McEwan’s. I hope sellers get to recoup some money. As for the new owner, it is one new person who is a serial entrepreneur from Arizona. I don’t believe they plan on setting up any shop in Utah. An old colleague of mine was hired there as an engineer and we have a good long discussion about the company and what the future holds. No one working there has any previous affiliation with the company, unless they have tried to hire back any employees. And none of those employees had anything to do with Jane.com’s downfall. They were just as surprised and frustrated and sad as everyone else. They tried to come into work and the doors were locked. I watched Jane.com grow over the years and I am happy they are bringing it back. It was a great platform.
I personally know and have worked with the new owner for over 10 years. He lives in AZ and was in no way affiliated with the old owners and has run several other wonderful online brands. He is currently working with 100s of past sellers to bring back the company better than ever! So excited!
I have never read comments in a post where so many people have “first hand knowledge” of a small, fairly unknown to many people, business…….
Hard pass. Same overpriced items. It’s in bad taste that this new owner will reopen a store that took people’s money and ran away with it. This new owner could have easily renamed the company but I guess they’re just trying to make money off Jane’s previous success and failure even at the cost of many vendors that have lost money.
I don’t believe that legally the new owners are responsible for the debts of the previous owners unless that was part of the sale agreement and/or they want to promote goodwill (not the store…it’s a legal term)
I would not be ordering from them
