Lane Bryant offers this bra in sizes 34B up to a size 54K. In fact, it’s one of the most impressive ranges of plus sizes on the market. This lightly-lined bra also comes with removable and adjustable straps for multi-wear options. It also features a signature wide comfort band, a no-slip liner, the best-in-class underwire support, and it’s meticulously engineered to stay in place all day while hugging every curve. Ultimately, it’s the best plus-size option on the market according to our team.
4. Most supportive strapless bra: Felina Hint of Skin 6202 Underwire Strapless Bra
Felina Hint of Skin 6202 Underwire Strapless Bra – $20.97 (regularly $45)
Our Hip sidekick, Lina, tried this one on in the store and said it’s available online for the same awesome price that you’ll find in-store too. She said the skin-like material is very soft and she can wear it all day long. Despite its seamless appearance, this strapless contour bra has underwire support and push-up padding to help you feel and look your best.
She said you really can’t beat the $20 price point and it’s such a supportive bra which easily makes it her go-to. It comes in colors “bare” or “black” and is perfect for every day.
5. Best strapless bra for small chest: Nippies Nipple Covers
Nippies Nipple Covers – $26.50
These seamless Nippies covers are perfect if you’re looking to ditch a bra completely and simply prevent your nipples from showing through clothing. They’re also ideal for smaller chests since you likely won’t need much support. One of our Hip sidekicks reported that they’re even great for swimming too! They’re a traditional “sticky” nipple cover and are formulated with medical-grade silicone.
Our Hip sidekick, Monica, and I can attest that they really are seamless, unlike many others on the market. Removing them after wearing them all day is painless and they don’t leave any residue on your skin either.
Collin always wears these nipple covers with bodysuits.
Need a lift? Nippies now offers the same covers with a little lift if you need to accommodate a bigger chest!
Hip Tip: Our team shared all the best nipple covers on the market if you want to compare all our top picks.
6. Best strapless backless bra: Niidor Adhesive Strapless Sticky Bra
Niidor Adhesive Strapless Sticky Bra – $24.99 (regularly $27.99)
This adhesive bra provides the perfect natural-looking profile so you can wear it under pretty much any outfit you wish – including that open-back dress you’ve been avoiding. 😉 It also allows you to customize the amount of cleavage, whether you want a modest or bustier look.
Since it’s seamless and invisible, the outer edges are practically undetectable so it really looks like you’re not wearing a bra. If your boobs aren’t the perkiest, this silicone bra will definitely give them a good lift! The best feature of all is that you can clean and reuse your sticky bra so you aren’t compromising on reusability either. They’ll even come with a bonus set of nipple covers too.
Personally, I cannot agree with some of these recommendations. Of course it’s a highly subjective post, but I’ve tried some of these and they aren’t praise worthy.
My cup size: DDD Body weight: WNL
#6 Niidor self adhesive strapless – bought for outdoor wedding. It was warm out and as a result the boobs were a tad sweaty. The adhesive does not stick when there is any amount of moisture it seems so I was constantly pushing at my boobs awkwardly or worrying about them, instead of enjoying myself, because I could feel this bra coming loose frequently. It also never stuck again, so one time use if you could even call it that. The adhesive, as it turns out is a common complaint.
Thirdlove: I’ve tried to like thirdlove and have tried it many times over. Yet I never find their bras to wear properly. A bra should never truly use your shoulders to support your breasts. If your straps were to fall down your bra should still be in place supporting your breasts. Otherwise it causes pain and discomfort on the shoulders and upper back. I find that third love does not offer the right kind of comfort and support for my breast/body and I find that I cannot wait to free my body of this bra. It’s like a cute shoe that hurts like *.
What I am disappointed to see is that Soma bras are not mentioned on here. Again, a subjective post, but Soma is one of the few brands that truly provides comfort, support AND appeal in their bras…at least for body and size. Their bras actually last, unlike Victoria secrets (which start to dig into your skin and the wires come out quickly). And they very often found in the rankings on large breast bra blogs/polls/reddit. Just not this one.
Anyways, that’s my subjective opinion from someone who has worms a few of these and would not recommend them or place them on any positive list.
Thanks a bunch for sharing your honest feedback on the strapless bras you’ve tried and for the helpful recommendation on the one that’s worked best for you, Lili! 🤗❤️
