Yaayy! Thanks!!
Sorry, all! 🙁 Just fixed the links. Refresh the page and they should work now.
No Camp Lejeune 🙁 Hey Huggies we like our freebees too 🙁
“Additionally, Armed Services YMCA branches at Fort Bragg |Camp Lejeune, NC, Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, and San Diego, CA, in addition to Fort Campbell, KY and Fort Leonard Wood, MO, will also receive diapers, with a total donation of 4 million diapers, valued at $400,000, to the Armed Services YMCA”
you just have to keep checking back to see when 🙂
Thank you Huggies, and thank you, Hip2Save, for posting!
Lejeune was mentioned, go to the link.
i might have to drive to camp pendleton just to pick some up. Thank you for posting!
too bad barksdale AFB wasn’t on there 🙁
What’s annoying is that they specify “active duty”. What about our guard/reserve families!?
Ya that was the same thing I was thinking!!!
I hope we get some here at Wright-Patterson, AFB.
Thanks for posting this, Collin! Love when companies support military families!
that sux, we dnt have ne bases located near us 🙁
no ft sill 🙁
I was thinking the exact same!!!
I wish they would come to Groton CT to the subbase here. This would benefit so many families up here
There are 5 bases in Colorado Springs….I hope the bring them here too!!!!!
maybe for Guard and Reserves that are active qualify
I can’t find the calender. Is there going to be an event for White Sands Missile Range, NM?
This is awsome. Sad I’m not in San Diego anymore. To bad didn’t send them to overseas bases to like nas sigonella in Sicily. Take advantage of this opportunity people that’s awsome!!!
I wish there was a location closer to us. 🙁 These would be perfect for daddy coming home in the next few weeks.
I was wondering how many diapers are in a box. Does anyone know?
Depending on the the sizes but they range from 50 and up.
Just a tip for all of you…
I live near the San Diego YMCA so I was planning on being there right at 9AM (hoping things would go fast and smooth so I wouldn’t have to wait in line long with my impatient toddler). Well…I had a friend who was waiting in line for almost 2 hours (she got there at 7AM) and she said at 8:50AM they announced that they weren’t taking any more people! SOOOOO, if you want free diapers, I would recommend getting there an hour or 2 before the starting time or else you will be SOL like me.
I think they should’ve given 1 free box to families, instead of 2, that way more families had a chance.
OH WELL! GL to you all!
I went to the one here in San Diego at 8:30 and they were already turning TONs people away. Would have been a better idea for you guys to only offer two boxes per SS number, (OR Household) so many families could get a chance. Rather than each ID holder getting two boxes; Otherwise, every ID holder including those that are RETIRED and their extended families, some of which don’t even have babies take up the Lot. Oh well….Thanks anyways mabe next time…..
Does anyone know if it is true that the free diapers are only for E5 and below?
It is true. It’s E-5 and below. The ASYMCA CP Facebook page confirmed it. It takes me out of the running, but I’m ok with it…they have their reasons. I’m just happy that Huggies is supporting the troops at all. 🙂
Now retired soldiers and their families don’t deserve them too? My husband just got medically retired and we still have THREE in diapers. Just because one is “RETIRED” as you put it doesn’t mean that they don’t have kids in diapers.
The post isn’t about entitlement, it is about trying to make the most out of the supply for the most; OR Utilitarianism. Didn’t have the intention of having too much read into the post other than the the Company using a wiser practice….that is all. I immediately corrected the initial post because the translation could be misconstrued or not coming out the way it was intended….
but thanks for you input.
Where can I find the other cities, I only see 3 listed above.
I should correct my comment #23…Not retired ID holder But 1 active ID per Social would be a better idea….anyways for those considering driving to Camp Pendleton this after noon that did NOT get the box at Santo, you better leave now and Good Luck! Don’t want to waste that much in Gas unless your a fast peddler.
The link doesn’t work for me. I hope fort drum ny is on the list. But then again we are the armys best kept secret up here. Lol
Still can’t click links!!
I went here in camp pendleton and there was nothing! Called a friend to set if she had found the place and said there was nothing as well! I drove around for an hour for nothing! Very disappointed!
Why do people complain so much. Okay maybe you don’t qualify or maybe it’s not available near you like is my case but come on lets be thankful they are doing something nice and are trying to help the military families. Maybe this time your not lucky but maybe next time the help will be for you and not to other cases.
not working says page not found this is as far as i can get . is Fort Stewart located on the list
I guess these links aren’t working or something cause I have tried to look at the other cities and it says that the page is not available.?.?.?
