Here are two Summer Movie Programs that will allow you to take your kiddos to the movies on the cheap!

Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Summer Movie Express to enjoy a great selection of films at participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists, and Edwards Theatres. They will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10AM.

The start dates for each theater vary (some have already started and some will not be participating until June 26th).  Go here to find a participating location near you, and to view its start date.

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse is offering up G or PG rated summer movies for only $0.50 each if you purchase 10 tickets in advance for a total of $5. Otherwise, the movies will be $1 each at the door. Note that dates and times vary by theater.  Click here to find the theater closest to you and for a schedule of what will be shown and when.

Summer Movie Clubhouse punch cards are valid only at participating theatre box offices where originally purchased and are not transferable. Punch cards cannot be purchased or redeemed online and may only be redeemed for one person each week.

Stay tuned for a Summer Freebies & Deals post coming next week!

I have a question about how this works. So if i have a 4 year old and a 15 month i would buy 3 tickets ever wed right? or do you just pay for the kids?
    Thanks so much!

When I went last year I only had to pay for people 3 and older.

When my kids were little the movies were free at regal.

Definitely check the movies first. I just checked the movies for my local theater in Utah. There are only 5 movies that I think that my son would like and with summer vacation plans there is no way that we will make it to all of them. So it would be better to just pay for each one individually. My city also does free movies in the park every week and the library does free movies once a month

This is a wonderful deal. Unfortunately, they no longer offer it in our area. It was wonderful when they had the free movies and my daughter loved it. They stopped offering it in our area last year and we are very sad. If it is available in your area and you have little ones, I highly suggest you take advantage of it. It is so good for kids that are just starting to go to the movies because they are full of kids and a little noise is okay.
