Lowe’s Build & Grow: FREE Kids Make an Ice Cream Truck Activity (Saturday, 5/26)
I just want to give you all a heads up on this fun and free weekend event that will surely entertain your kiddos! This Saturday, May 26th, head on over Lowe’s at 10AM where your kids can make a cute Ice Cream Truck through the Lowe’s Build & Grow program. In addition to making a wooden project, kids will receive a FREE apron, goggles, and more!
* Keep in mind that you will need to sign up beforehand, and that space is limited. Go here to find a participating store near you, and to check availability. Also be sure to sign up now for the next one on 6/9, as available spots in some areas fill up fast!
My store is full. 🙁
You can still attend. They request you to sign up but realize that everyone who signs up does not show up either. They wait 15 minutes (all of the Charlotte, NC stores do this) for those who registered to show up and after that, they allow those waiting to participate. I’ve always been able to attend with my daughter even after showing up 30 minutes late! 🙂
my store is full but june 9th & 10th has the madgascar 3 plane! my kids would love that..so im signing them up 🙂
I’m feeling completely daft, but I can’t find where it says how old the kids need to be. Does anyone know or does it vary by project? Thanks!
I was looking for this too. There has to be a minimum age. Anyone know?
I think its for five and up
There is not. they recommend school age however, I have been taking my daughter since she was three and she loves it. I’ve even seen younger around two participating.
When you begin to register the child it says 5 years and up.
recommended age is 5, but i take my 3 year old to them and it’s no problem. just more work for mom 😉
ice cream one full in Orem it but I got signed up for the plane one
We loves Lowes Build and Grow program! As an FYI the “FREE apron, goggles, and more” is for use in store, while constructing the project. They do get to take home the project and an iron-on patch though!
My son lives for these workshops. He literally counts down the days. We’ve been doing it for 4 months now. We will continue to go to these. It’s great bonding and building time for me and my 5 yr old son. 🙂
Just registered, Thanks! I was looking for something to do this Saturday. 😀
