* Go through ShopAtHome.com for 3% cash back or go through Ebates.com for 2.5% cash back!
There are a lot of cute items, however; most are out of stock. 🙁
Yeah same here, practically everything is out of stock.
There was a bunch last night when I ordered but it was going fast. If you have a local Claire’s, they do this in store, too.
When does the price adjust? It’s asking for my billing info and the total is still $29.50? Not really wanting to enter my credit card before the total is correct. Is there a code to enter? I selected all 10 for $10 eligible stuff….
You have to have multiples of 10 items that are included in the 10 for 10. Double check your cart because they have a $10 bonus bucks thing that counts as an item in your cart. You probably need to add one more thing.
can somebody help me with finding a site that sells stuff for teenage girls, more towards 19,for a birthday present,i want to find a site that has free shipping, but not a big store site, like claires, something that is not so known,i just dont know how to look for it online,im trying to find like accessory type things,or purses and such
us.asos.com, macys.com, forwardforward.com, piperlime.com, shopbop.com, zappos.com, endless.com, ninewest.com also you check http://www.freeshipping.org for limited time free shipping sites
Tracy I pick up things all year long for young women. Right now I have a pair of earrings I picked up for 2.07 at the Limited when they had 15.00 off your purchase coupon. A candle I ordered from the Pottery Barn for less than 3.00 shipped. I picked up a free scarf with free shipping from Cold water Creek in June. And of course free small bottles of lotion from BBW. Closer to Christmas I am usually able to pick up free panties and fragrances from VS. Another great idea that I haven’t tried yet is Art Cow has specials several times a year where you can design a cosmetic bag really cheap. They do come from China if that make a difference to you. I finally got the prefect picture from 1 of my sil that I am going to use the next time the offer comes up. Also during August if you put in 5 codes into your mycokerewards acct. you can get a free Shutterfly book. You do have to pay shipping. I think it is $8-10. A photo book of her high school friends might be nice or some other event or place that has meaning to her. You do have to have the book finished by the end of Sept. or I would have jumped at this. Our first grand baby is due in Oct. All of these deals I found were posted here at hip2save in the last few months.
Wet Seal and Forever 21 both frequently have deals. Since you want something “not so known” I’m guessing you want something unique and personal that her friends dont have… Have you checked Etsy? I’ve had great luck ordering personalized items from sellers there. Most of the shipping charges have been very reasonable, the service is fantastic (because you’re dealing with an individual who wants repeat business and not an outsourced telephone customer service rep) and everything I’ve bought has been great quality.

Stuff sells out while you’re still choosing things too, so be quick if it’s something you have to have.
This was really frustrating. My daughter browsed through the 10-10 pages and picked 20 items ALL of them had the “Eligible for 10 for 10” but when we got ready to check out they were not. The total was over $60. We went back and double checked the items that she picked, on the browsing pages for 10-10 they said they were eligible but once added to the cart the description changed to ‘on sale for 4.95’ or buy one get one 5-% off.
Offer gd instore as well
You have to make sure you actually have ten items. There is a thing that talks about the $10 bonus cash that adds to your cart. You probably need another item.
Don’t go to the store at Hollywood & Highland in Hollywood, CA. Aside from the AC not working in there, the 10 for $10 items are mixed up with higher priced items. Too hard to figure out what is truely 10 for $10. The cashier has a hard accent and very unfriendly. Three strikes and you’re out. I’ll try online shopping for this. Sigh.
I had the same problem with it not taking the discount in the cart. I called customer service and they said that the issue is that some of the items may be eligible, but not all the colors are eligible. You have to search each item by item number and then it will tell you which colors are on sale, even though on the 10 for 10 page it looks like all the colors are on sale. Hope this helps!
I’m not a fan of claires (or icing by claires) in general. Their return policy is NOT so customer friendly, as certain items, even if they’ve never been used and are still with tags on them, are completely unreturnable. It was weird, because I bought hair clips for a wedding, didn’t use them, and tried to return them. They asked me how I intended to use them, and I told them at a wedding. They said “oh, ok, we’ll take it back, but if you bought it for a formal we couldn’t take it back” Very weird if I do say so myself. I’ve never had a store tell me that an items returnability was based on how I intended to use it!
My guess is 1) for some things, like earrings, it’s a hygiene issue. 2) I bet they’ve had issues with people buying and wearing things for a one-time special occasion then returning them when they’re no longer needed – hence the intended use question. Still not ideal, especially with online purchases but a bit more understandable perhaps
Got 20 items for $20 stocked up on some goodies for me and my four year old.
Just got back from my Claire’s in Ohio with my 13-year-old. (Went directly to the store because it was too frustrating seeing “out of stock” on everything we liked online.) I made it a “learning experience”–she had to calculate the ORIGINAL PRICE grand total & the SALE PRICE grand total. She figured up that we saved $74 on our 10 items! Awesome! Thanks for the tip, H2S!!
Wow! That’s awesome! Probably should’ve known that sale was going on in store, too because it was PACKED when we walked past it yesterday. Thing is, me and my two younger sisters were way more into that store when we were younger, but with my youngest sister, we pretty much avoid that place like the plague because she’s not too interested in it. But, I did just buy her her first purse and she’s obsessed with getting things to put inside of it, so I may need to take her! ; )
Ok, 2 am on Sunday, there is enough in stock for me to get 30 items and shipping is only $3 🙂
My Twin 13 year old daughters Love this sale and got some really cute items Saturday! They were happy which made me happy! Thanks
20 items for $26 (will get 3% cash back from Shop At Home). Hate paying shipping but hate going to the mall more – LOL – and don’t have time today! Proof that you gotta be open to finding things in odd places – I bought 10 “girl” items to put in stockings that I donate each year @ Xmas but the other 10 items are light up maracas for my son’s birthday party goodie bags! 🙂
Thx for all the help
