Liquid Laundry Detergent:
3 Pints Water
1/3 bar Fels Naptha Soap, grated
1/2 cup Washing Soda (Arm and Hammer, NOT baking soda though!!)
1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax
2 Gallon bucket to mix it in
1 Quart hot water Hot Water
Mix Fels Naptha soap in a saucepan with 3 pints hot water and heat on low until dissolved. Stir in Washing Soda and Borax. Stir until thickened, and remove from heat. Add 1 Quart Hot Water to 2 gallon Bucket. Add soap mixture, and mix well. Fill bucket completely with additional hot water, and mix well. Set aside for 24 hours, or until mixture thickens. You may add additional HOT water if the mixture becomes too thick. Mix Well before each use. Use 1/2 cup of mixture per load. Makes 64 loads. Cost per load .03.
I can find all three ingredients in the laundry aisle at my Walmart & Kroger. This detergent is good for those with sensitive skin and works on all clothes!
How do you make it
Collin-with shop at home do you HAVE to reach $20 by the time checks are cut to qualify? Or you lose your whole earned balance? Not sure I quite understand shopathome. I usually use ebates.
no. But if your account is dormant for a while (meaning you don’t make any purchases in like a year), then they deduct something like $3.50 from your account. Its in their FAQ.
Yes, you have to reach $20 before they will send you a check. All the dates are on their website.
Can you buy more than one? and will you get double cash back? or is it a one time only deal.
I am very skeptical about using ShopAtHome, last time I used it, it was for the kleenex dealyou posted not long ago, and although shipping was free since I got the free Shop Runner promo which you did post last winter( thank you), instead of getting one $1.50 back, I only received $ .17 cents which was a pretty bad deal for me.
Wild Deals are notorious for not crediting, but when I bring it to their attention, it is fixed right away. You just have to be diligent about record keeping, as in save all of your email receipts.
Hmmm…shopper runner says ineligable items. Wont give me the free shipping. Am I doing something wrong?
