Kids.Woot!: Thomas & Friends 40-Piece Wooden Train Set Only $84.99 Shipped (Reg. $149.99!)
If you have a Thomas & Friends fan in your household, then this may be just the deal you have been looking for. For the next 17 hours (or until they sell out!), Kids Woot is offering up the Thomas & Friends Steamies and Diesels 40-Piece Wooden Train Set for only $79.99 (regularly $149.99!) + $5 shipping!
This set includes 2 talking engines, 2 standard engines, over 30 track pieces and mountain risers that create 4 different layouts. Your kiddo can guide Thomas up and over the mountain, through the tunnel, and stop at the station; and then build it up in a different layout for next time. When assembled, the set is about 3 feet long, with over 10 feet of total track; it also works as a great add-on set for other Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway sets.
Note that this same set sells for a whopping $152.99 on Amazon.com and according to reader, April, it sells for $149.99 at Toys R Us so this seems like a great deal.
(Thanks, April!)
Thanks, I just picked this up for Christmas for my kids! I’m hoping they’ll love it. I hear nothing but good things about the Thomas wooden train sets and my 3 yr old daughter loves them every time she sees one. If anyone has any tips or suggested other items to go along with this set I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!
I have 2 young boys 5 and 3 and they love building tracks and playing with the trains. I don’t have this set above but we do have several wooden tracks and other fun accessories. We just play with them on the floor because there is more room there to make many different kinds of tracks….a table or limited area is a little harder to be creative in. When any kids come to our house they love the trains. Old or young. I think it is a great investment! When we are not playing with the tracks and trains we put them in big tupperware containers …I don’t think they take up too much room. If you have kids you will have toys that take up room. 🙂 Good luck! oh- I would love to add this to our collection but I don’t think my husband would say we need more…by the way he loves to get down on the floor and build with the tracks too.
My kids loved it for awhile but then it starts to become a dust collector and a catch all of other toys. It’s awesome if your kids love playing with trains but it takes up A LOT of room.
I always see these at garage sales…maybe I should start reselling, lol!
