This is neat as a non-candy option. This is our first time living in a place where there will be kids trick or treating. Have any of you done other neat non-candy treats? Thanks!
I’ve used play-dough before just try to have something for older kids too.
Last year I gave out playdough, spider rings, fruit snacks and pretzels (just depending on how old the trick or treater was)
We give out mini flashlights & stickers. Both younger & older kids can appreciate the flashlights while trick or treating 🙂 Purchased a dozen of them from orientaltrading.com for $1.49/dozen.
We have done glow stick bracelets in the past
We have done boxes of crayon and decorative pencils and stickers.
Kohl’s has these marked down to $3.99, I believe. I was in store, yesterday!
My Kohls does not take manufacturer coupons; however, my MIL currently has 30% off so guess it’s the trade off =)
I would contact Kohls corporate, I work for the company and we are supposed to honor them.
Yeah, they’re 60% off at my Kohl’s too. I wait until right after halloween and grab them for a dollar or less, and use them for stocking stuffers for my 4yr olds. They love it!
I called Kohl’s here (Charleston, SC) and they only carry the 15-pack.

I was just at the Christmas Tree Shop and they have almost all their Halloween merchandise on sale for 50% off and the Play-Doh 15 pack is $2.50 with the 50% off. Couple that with the $1.50 coupon and you are paying $1 for it, not to shabby.
The coupon is for the 20 pack only.

Went to Toys R Us and they said all of their Playdoh Halloween dough went clearance and sold out super fast. It sounds like that was a couple of days ago too. BTW, I noticed it’s for a 20 count pack but the photo shows a 15 count pack. I looked for any type Playdoh 20 count bags at TRU but only saw 15 count so it may be difficult to find the exact size and type that these are to be used on. Thanks though, still going to look at more places. 🙂
