If I purchase some reward items using a merchandise credit, would I get the full amount of the rewards back? TIA
Please confirm that I can use my previous MaxRewards to purchase these items and essentially roll my rewards. I am so used to avoiding that like the plague with Staples and am pretty sure Office Max is different. I just wanted to be 100% sure. Thanks!
Yes, you can use MaxRewards to purchase these items and roll your rewards. I’ve been rolling the same $50 for years ($50 gets you free shipping, so it is worth investing that into the program if you don’t live close to an Office Max).
do they issue the rewards quarterly? I have $68 that expires in April. Will I have to wait that long to get these back? Or will I get them next month?
I don’t keep the best of track on how long it takes to get these back, but it is certainly more often than quarterly. I would say every month?
I’m on the teacher program, though, so it could be different. Check out FAQs here: https://www.officemaxperks.com/CustomerServiceFAQBusiness.aspx#MPBR3 I hope that helps!
How have you been rolling your rewards for years? The past 3 months they have not offered any MaxPerk Bonus rewards….and the my rewards expired after 3 months..so I had to spend my rewards on ink for my computer :0) Agree it’s a great program but do not understand how people are rolling their rewards through out the year when they don’t offer rewards every week or month.?
My rewards have never expired prior to another bonus reward being offered, so I’ve never experienced that issue. I generally jump on the bonus rewards whenever they are available (especially if my rewards will expire in less than a month) even if it isn’t something I particularly want/need (as it can always be donated). As long as you take advantage of all of the offers, you should be able to avoid having your points expire before another bonus reward rolls around!
I haven’t been rolling my rewards for years but I have for the past year. So I completely believe that Sara has been rolling for years. The maxperk rewards aren’t always advertised well. That’s the point. For people to loose their rewards and not use them. There have been times when I’ve been really close to the expiration date but still been able to use the rewards. In December 2012, OfficeMax was offering 1 cent batteries every week. It was in their ad at the very back not very noticeable. My rewards expired at the end of December but I was able to use my rewards on Batteries. So obviously they were having a rewards within the past 3 months 🙂
I’ve need paper and black sharpies for awhile 🙂 great deal!!
I am having issues at checkout trying to get it to use my rewards points instead of credit card. Any suggestions?
So excited to see these Office Max deals! I’ve finally been able to use up all my MaxPerks rewards that I was worried were going to expire. Can always use sharpies at my house.
Yes, that’s exactly what I was thinking Lisa! I’ve been waiting for some great deals to roll my rewards!
This program is new to me. Is this like ECBs at CVS. I can use the rewards on future purchases? Can I use them online AND in the store? Thanks!
Yes, once your receive the email that you have rewards on your account you can use them on other items that are offering 100% back and you can use them in-store and online. You can even combine them with coupons.
Where do you find the coupons if youre buying online?
