   I just did a search on google & found out that the Hard Candy cases DO NOT fit Kindle Fire HD…. Glad I checked this out as I was just about to grab this!!

    I had of these for my kindle fire, while it worked well to protect the kindle. Our kindle started only charging in certain positions and then stopped charging all together. I had to buy a new kindle. The person from Amazon told me is probably stopped due to the case putting pressure while charging. I have bought a new kindle and spent the extra on the otter box which doesn’t put pressure on it while charging

    I bought one of these last year when my son got a Kindle for xmas. I have dropped it more than him and not a scratch. My son does have birds on a wire and it covers the microphone 🙁 We have never had a charging issue. I bought it for $50 and feel it was well worth that price.

  I’m looking for the same thing, as my MIL got each of my boys a Kindle Fire HD 7″ for Christmas, so we definitely need heavy duty cases to protect them! I’ve been searching, without any luck, for a decent deal on cases for them…HELP!
