Crispy chicken tenders made in the air fryer with a delicious kick of honey mustard flavor!
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1 and 1/2 cups honey mustard dressing
- 1 1/2 cups honey mustard pretzels (such as Dot's)
- non-stick cooking spray
Directions
1
Marinate the chicken tenders with the honey mustard dressing in the fridge for about an hour. Use a Ziploc bag or container with a lid.
2
Crush the pretzels into crumbs using a food processor or blender. Pour them into a bowl.
3
Run the tenders through the crumbs making sure the crumbs cover all sides.
4
Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer, making sure they have some room in between. I did two batches. Spray the tops with cooking spray lightly.
5
Set the time for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Turn them over, spray again, and cook for another 5 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees.
6
Serve your chicken tenders warm with a dipping sauce such as ranch dressing or honey mustard. Enjoy!

The bold and zesty Pub Pretzels from Aldi taste just like Dots and there only 1.99. We did a taste test and my kids couldn’t taste the difference, but obviously Dots are sticks and Aldi’s look like mini pretzels.
Looks like a great recipe!
Oh yay! Ya those would be great I’m sure- thanks for sharing!
I am not a fan of chicken, so this sounds like a good recipe that takes away the chicken flavor! I just did a quick google search to see if I could find a homemade honey mustard dressing and found this recipe*:
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 small garlic clove, grated or minced
ΒΌ teaspoon sea salt, more to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
