I use this tanner, it’s AMAZING but you have to buy the tan mitt to apply it, or it will look very uneven. I highly recommend this stuff though!

QVC is definitely an 8oz bottle for this price. You can buy mitt on amazon for like $6.
You can use any tanning mitt. I’ve used both the St Tropez brand one from Ulta and a generic one from Sally Beauty, and I didn’t really notice a difference in application.
You can buy it at ulta and sephora, it runs for around $6
Walmart has a generic tanning lotion and mitt. I like both
I use the knockoff brand from Amazon and it is just as great!! Less expensive too! It comes from the U.K. but only takes about a week to arrive. Great color but must use a mitt or gloves to apply.

I’ve been using this tanner for 2 years and I love it! I even tried a cheaper “dupe” but for me, nothing beats how this works…especially when it comes to drying time. You only need to wait 5 minutes (rather than 15-20 for cheaper products) and then you can dress! It’s awesome! I agree that using the tan mitt helps with an even application, and it’s less messy.
How’s the smell of this stuff?? I have to watch myself as well bc I’ve had skin cancer
There is no smell when you first apply, but you will notice a smell once it develops a few hours after you apply. It’s not as bad as a lot of tanners, but I won’t say that it’s not there. I don’t mind it much, and you can actually shower and rinse off the “guard color” after 4-6 hours without disrupting the tan.
Not that the smell ha anything to do with skin cancer. Lol. Just curious! I have always seen great reviews, so I’m really interested!!

LOL! No one should have to worry, we should all love the color we were born with. I have 8 kids, not a single one is the same color as the other (except for the twins) and none of them match my husband or I. We teach to love what color we were born as and even the palest (and I do mean PALE) child loves herself and the way she looks. Plus, no money spent and no chemicals on the skin.
Must be nice not having to worry about skin cancer! And people coming up to you everyday to let you know “Oh my gosh.. You’re so white!” And I’m like “really? I know!”
Actually it’s a myth that people of color can’t get skin cancer. Come up with a snappy come back like “it comes in handy- I glow in the dark!” Or something.

I’ve never used self tanner, how often do you need to reapply this? And how long should this size bottle last? Do you use it on your face too? As a former sun worshiper, I’m trying to cut back but still want some color. I’d appreciate the advice!

I love this stuff! In high school and early college I always tanned a lot but since having kids I wear sunscreen and have not stepped foot in a tanning bed. This stuff gives awesome, natural looking color and makes me not miss tanning one bit. Def recomend if you are looking for a sunless tanner! (And like everyone else says I use a mitt to apply.) for those asking about how often you apply, that depends on how dark you want to look but I just use mine randomly- prob once/week in the summer or if I’ve been swimming a lot and then wearing shorts maybe more often. A bottle lasts me a long time. About the face question, I think they make separate face stuff but I use this but I use it after putting on lotion so that it’s not so intense.
While watching tv a couple years ago, i heard someone say that they use this product on Dancing with the Stars, so I tried it and love it. It is a mouse and I use a mitt to apply it. It goes on bronzy colored so you can see where it is and even it out. I have even added a little more the next day if I think any areas are not dark enough. It gets a little smelly after its been on a while. The color lasts about one week. My bottles have always lasted a really long time. I would recommend this product.
Good to hear! I use Tarte, and I like how it goes on with color so you can see how much you’re applying and where but tarte only last 2 days max! Giving this a shot
