Wow I want to get this for my kids but my husband said 32 isn’t enough space.
His right, kids download lots of games which take up so much space. Can get great deals if you really look into them in other stores just do your research. In my opinion this is not a great price for the ipad mini 2.
Last year for black friday I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S and I love it! What I love most is that it has a slot for a memory card. It has a built in app for Kids called KidsMode that keeps a young one inside that app, able to play any downloaded game, and for a specific amount of time without being able to exit that app. I highly recommend it! The only con is that any games bought on Apple products don’t carry over to Android devices.
Our daughter has had the 16gb for a few years and does just fine with storage space for games.
This is a good price to purchase at target with the extra 5% discount. Remember this has Wifi. Look around and it is priced higher every where else. If you compare the specs from the ipad mini 2 and the ipad mini 4 there is not much of a difference. I think it is a steal and I shop deals all day every day.
Same here. My son has a 16 gb and has had it for years and never had an issue with space. Ad soon as he gets bored with an app or game we delete it and find something new. The trick is to remove stagnant items that eat up memory. And for this price you can’t beat it
I have a 32gb iPad Air 2 and have a ton of space on it, my kids use it and download all kinds of stuff. I just got them this mini 2 for Xmas and I feel it’ll be plenty of space.

I screwed up and bought the 16 GB instead of the 64GB on Black Friday and Target won’t let me exchange it without loosing my $150 gift card promo. If I switch with them it will now cost my an additional $250 before taxes. HELP!!

I can return it, no problem and get what I paid. The problem is that if I switch to the 64GB, they won’t honor the gift card deal. It would now cost me another $250, whereas if I did it on Black Friday, it was only a $100 difference.
Does Best Buy price match target?
If the item is in stock they should. But every store is different and ultimately up to manager discretion.
I asked best buy on chat and I was told that they only price match regular prices vs regular prices. I think it defeats the purpose of price matching so I didnt even attempt to continue in the conversation.
iPad mini 2 was new at Christmas in 2013, I wouldn’t buy this because it will be outdated as soon as you get it.

I think it is a great deal. Shop around and you will see. This is a wifi unit. It cost more everywhere I have seen and I have checked around. Remember if you have a Target REDcard you save an extra 5% on top of the great price.

I ordered it on black friday for $319 with the $80 giftcard. I just called and they did a price adjustment since it was within 14 days and refunded me $49 so I got it for $269 and get to keep the $80 giftcard! That’s a pretty sweet deal now! That just saved me $50! Thank you!!
Thanks so much for the tip! I bought two I Black Friday too! I will call tomorrow! The Apple Store says that this will it be obsolete as soon as you buy it and that 32gb is good for kiddos if they are not planning on doing animation and long movies.
I would call tonight. If it goes out of stock they won’t honor it. Whoever I talked to at their call center was in another country so their time difference is way different and it was only noon their time when I called so it’s not too late.
Online it says under their price match exclusions: “Price matches and adjustments will not be allowed for prices from Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving, whether offered by Target or a competitor.”
Not sure if you just got lucky, or if I should try.
It sounds like theory won’t match prices from that period of time on previous purchases. Yo should be okay now as the better price doesn’t fall within that window of time.

If your thinking about getting one of these you better make up your mind sooner rather than later . This is a good deal I purchased 2 today 1 for me & 1 for my daughter . If your concerned about space just delete items hat aren’t being used . We are taking ours on our trip to Italy . Can’t wait to use them .
